I'm getting an error 'Addon_WGL_Sound_Replacement' requires addon 'CA_AnimsHotfix'

Running latest patch and mods. When using my mod folders i get no errors until i add you sound mod folder. confused_o.gif

I'm trying to find out which folder it is, will let you know as soon as i do.   wink_o.gif

Update:

Just posted and realised it's mentioned above. I shouldn't leave my reply box hanging for so long. biggrin_o.gif

Pros:

Great MG noise for SU-34

Love the UH-60 and M-17 engine sounds

Lovig those little touches you've added like Tank interior sounds and M119/D-30 reloading sounds and clinks in the ammo belts and M4/M16's

Cons:

Shilka sound doesn't last as long as the burst, same for AH-1Z cannon

M4 and m16 sounds same

PKM has M4 Reload sounds

GAU-8, GAU-12 and M134 sound the same

KA-50 and Mi-17 similar sounds

Ak-74 and AK-74U have same sound

annoying error on startup

FFAR on Ka-50 is very bugged, only get one sound for it for each 20 rockets fired. Basically fire once sound then a random amount later you get another single sound.

AH-1Z and AH/MH-6 have same sound

I also didn't like the fact that you only changed the GAU-8 on the A-10 and not the Mavericks or Engine sounds on it and the GAU-8 wasn't really that fantastic anyway. Still a lot of work to do but i think this will turn into a great sound mod!!!

First off all I want to say great job.

Can it be that i am missing explosion sounds on vehicles (tanks blowing up, etc..)?

I'm still getting the error with Queens Gambit and patched to 1.14. No errors without your sound mod. I can't find CA_AnimsHotFix anywhere. crazy_o.gif

Good job, but

Suggestions:

- Add a longer echo to the AK-74 and variants

-I just didnt like the M4/m16 (personal preference, seemed to squekyish)

-M203 shot was way to quiete

-Add echo on M249

-Make RPG7V's louder (explosion)

-m107 sounds like an edited springfield from Call of Duty United Offensive..

Other then that I like the sound pack, cant wait till next release,

It's a good sound mod but there are one or two little snags with it, I thought the helicopter sounds were a little too quiet and the M4 and M16 sounds didn't sound like they were powerful weapons.

However over I like it and I made a quick video which can be found

How much of that video is WGL sounds? A few of them sounds as if they are other sound mods...

i have to say though. one thing i love best about this mod is the sonic cracks. every one elses sonic cracks are alwasy loud explosions....these make it seem like your acually beig shot at.

i agree with the changes the community (above me)  have requested.

btw this mod has potential!

i cant wait for later updates!

acually. well it sounded very good in that video then i played it on my game and it kidna sounded nothign like the video. the sonic cracks sound like some one tapping on metal. or somting like that. the PK needs some tunning up big time. i like the sound of the AK. mabey we could see some changes of the M4 and M16.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Disabled the DBE1 modfolder for testing ... however QC also

copies files into ArmA\addons..

Anyway it should work fine now. If not please tell us.

... all of them. I am running DSAI and Whisper sound mod but they are only the AI talking and the different sounding radio. All weapon/vehicles/explosion sounds are WGL.

Perfect combination if I do say so 456820, thanx for the heads up on the other mods used, I was looking forward to something a lil different than the original ArmA voices.

Glad to see your gonna be updating this sound mod, it's gonna get better and better with regular updates.

Just One question though, what sample rate are you using? 22khz/44khz? the question isn't one of quality, just I've found the sound cuts out less during larger battles on lower spec machines if you use 22khz.
