How many more planes do you guys want for the RACS???

I dont want to take away Blue_Knights nice job. It needs a lil more work getting the stripes to match up over the different textures but it looks good so far.

you asked for F-4 and we put it back in.... we need to focus on getting the ground hardware complete if we are ever going to see the end of this. This is not reskin everything for the RACS mod. If Southy can secure permissions from Ikar for us we may do it. No promises. i can sick my aircraft texture wizzard (EddyD) on it. The more of thse side projects that get added the less time we have to finish the leopards that everyone has been begging for. The M113s are not done yet and we still have not even started the infantry.

come on guys be realistic. If you want to help the project out i need guys that can config and do RVMATs. Then we can consider addin more to this

right now fellas ..... sorry but there is just too much on the plate, BUT IF SOUTHY GETS ME THE GO AHEAD IT WILL BE DONE. It will just be a backside project like the F-4....

i thought this project was about letting people have a variety of RAC addons so they can build their own RACS army , so , what's wrong with having more addons to choose from ? for me, i'd like to see that mirage 2000 in RAC version    in fact , i'm not a retexturer expert , but i'm learning a bit to have all the addons that project RACS won't cover in their project

you could alwasy join our project team and help out... putting yoru 2 cents in may add what you want

and OK OK OK you will get your RACS Miriage2000 if Southy gets us the permissions......

Carl Gustav armed infantry, M901 Hammerhead, and TOWII version in the M113 pack. There is also MD500 Helicopter..... but with a fleet of Leopards and M60s ..... who needs anything else...

Since RACS seems to be some kind of latin-american army, I suppose that such planes like F-4 or AV-8 wouldn't be suitable. Instead of them numerous versions of Mirage-III/F1/Kfir/2000, used F-16 (maybe ex-USAF ), F-5 and especially A-37 "Dragonfly" and some jet-trainers will look more realistic for such "country" as Sahrani.

I think we dont use it, because we want our infarty not looking like US soldiers. We changed the equipment, some EU guns and that sorts of things, also models are being changed. And this is a MOD (MODIFICATION) lol, so thats why

Do you plan different camo for the RACS-Infantry?

Matching better with the vehicles?

I´m a little friend of "cooperate identity", so it would be really nice to have some green sections on it like the vehicles have.

Now I use RACS only on SouthSahraniIsland, or on MAP_SouthSahraniIsland, cause the bright deserttheme jumps in eye on green ground.

(yes I use MercT1/T2 or woodland RACS Addons than in other cases...)

yes there will be a Naval Infantry section but thier equipment ill nto be remarkably different from that of the regulars. basically a different uniform and equipmet similar than 1980's USMC

That reminds me of the concept of the Saudi EFs looks nice in RACS colours though however maybe darken the nose? Like this.

Ok now seriously this needs to stop.

if you want to start your own project go for it.

i have set out the parameters for this project form the get go. There will be NO project RACS eurofighter. Ther will be no project RACS LAV-25..... why? because Vilas said we cannot. thats why. I told you we were making a Fuchs instead. Eurofighter has not been produced in high numbers or proliferated beyond a fwe european countries. Therfore it would not be available to RACS. They still cannot build enough for the Euro orders.

Now why the hell woudl you start trying to compete with us instead of my pleas over and over again for people to help us out.....

basically Lamar and I are going to finish up the last couple addons we have close like the leos and a couple choppers and we are pulling the plug on this.

If someone else is interested in taking over let me know i can give you the donated models and put you in touch with the propper people for permissions

never fear we are not pulling the plug everyone.... Still have my troops and landrovers and m113s to finish. Also Allouettes in Racs camo...and some other nice stuff. We are, however, capping the project till we get the core complete... after that we will, as they say in Louisiana, give yall a l'il Lanyap (something extra). The slowed progress is mostly my fault as I am into my busiest season in the worst economy since the Great depression. I know you guys all over the world can appreciate that. Anywho.... We will get done what we have on our plate but like Eddie says, probably not much more even though Wiliam1 your Eurofighter is very nice looking, but just too too modern for us. Etenard, Mirages (3 and 2000) and the f16 are plenty enough. There might be a pucara but we have to see on that. They troops and trucks are my focus right now and Eddie is going to finalize some stuff. We are also both trying to figure some stuff out for Vilas so he can release his wonderful packs!

Basically no one tries to compete with your stuff. It´s just the opposite - William and myself offered you some reskins. If you want to include them or not in your project is your own decision.

Actually i liked it when some members of the forum are motivated by your project and try to make their own reskins. It´s nothing more and nothing less.

As you can see by the number of posts maked in this thread there are a lot of people very interested in your and Dalai Lamars stuff. It would be wrong now to stop because of some members which are only trying to be helpful for your mod.

Please think about it again.

the point ive been trying to make from the get go is instead of making your own stuff why not join up with us and help out! From the start its been myself and FA Dalai Lamar doing the majority of the work.

@vilas...... thats why we never went for Bionics Leo2A6 and why your Leo2 works perfectly as our modern main battle tank. the M60-2000 is for the Kings Division.

I will have your hatches done today. It was hard working with them without a complete addon.
