Sigma Six Vehicle Pack

After some testing of the cars i noticed the cop cars dont have siren sound fx. Would been nice to have it in action menu or something. smile_o.gif or to replace the horn with a siren?

Just some sugestions. wink_o.gif

Sigma, can you build it into the addon or is there a script available with an "addaction" command or something?

I remember the "policie" addon in ofp had ingame sirens.

Better to leave it without a siren, that way mission makers can add their own, hearable locally for other players.

My current project is the Dodge Charger Police pursuit vehicle, and I'm building it on the 2005 platform, so the addon will include the pursuit car, an unmarked police vehicle, an R/T version and a more pedestrian V6 sedan variant.

Basically, it's a response to the requests for a more modern police vehicle.

Hey Sigma-6,

absolutely phantastic modelling job on those cars!

It would be great to have some low-poly models of them for dense urban scenarios where the cars are more like static objects than actually usable vehicles.

I have around 20 of your vehicles on that mission and the loading time is sky high. Maybe you consider adding some low poly ones in the future, would be much appreciated!

Well, I've basically got until September, and not even all of that. If I have time, I'll do LOD work on them. At the moment, there's only one resolution LOD for each vehicle, and that varies, depending on the complexity of the model, between 4000 and 14000 polys. With a full set of LODs, you'd have the game iterate them down to 500 polys in the distance.

Just about 10,000 polys.

Isolda. . . any site that updated its version with the new one won't have Isolda in the download. You have to find a place that's hosting the original vehicle pack, and just pull "isolda.pbo" out of the zip. As for who is hosting both. . . I don't know. sad_o.gif
