jerryhopper 286 Posted February 10, 2008 Goodmorning-Sahrani Episode 17 with Raedor from CWR & Shocko of from the ESL Good Morning Sahrani! its already our 17th episode of the show, and after last week's show with Ondrej Spanel, we thought that things could'nt get better than that interview. But we could'nt be more wrong! Although the creator of the game makes it all possible... It's the community that really 'makes'a game worth playing. Therefore, this week's guest are not 'less' important! We have Shocko from the ArmA ESL league, and 'Raedor', the (ex) lead of the 'Cold War Rearmed' modification for armed assault. In this episode we look back to the role that Raedor played in the ArmedAssault community, and also look forward his - and the Electronic Sports League's future. After the interview with Raedor, Jerry Hopper met Shocko from the ESL league in a bar in Paraiso called "Booze 'n'Babes", where Jerry did a short - on the spot - report on what this "Electronic Sports League" actually is, and is heading to. sparks50 0 Posted February 10, 2008 For some reason i thought it was 2200 hours in gmt+1, so missed that Im listening to the downloaded version now, about commentating leagues, wouldn't it be a problem if some of the competitors listened in to the radio and get information about position of enemy's etc? max power 21 Posted February 11, 2008 I was surprised to hear how Canadian Shocko sounds, or rather, I was surprised to hear that he's German. You get some microscopic hints of a German accent sometimes, but mostly he sounds like he's straight out of Winnipeg. It was good to hear a fellow frost-back on the radio. Jerry, besides your radio station itself being a phenomenal effort, your Good Morning Sahrani show really opens ones eyes to the breadth of the community. I had no idea there was a international league. edit: I some feedback, Jerry. I find that when you mix your interviews with music, it competes with what you guys are saying. I think that if you want to end on some music to mix out of the interview, that you should start the music much closer to the end, when you're doing your post-amble. The teams would be very happy to have you as commentator. At least at the start some combo style sounds like a good idea. So to have you and some player from the league to explain whats going on, the hardcore details and to have little discussions etc. Actually tonight there is a real time stream from the european combat league.
