Ike_fin 0 Posted January 8, 2008 Our server(mainly coop) uses: TruerangeAI Makes AIs much realistic instead of moving targets. AI's spot range could be little smaller but rather this than passive AI. Durg's vegetation fix Well this makes bushes work as cover. VFAI Extension AI picks up weapons and throws smoke. DMSmokeGrenadeVB Workin smoke grenades for AI. All of these should also client have but they seem to work fine even only server has those. If only server has Truerange, AI under players command are not affected and so they are much crappier. Don't forget about that. -- Certain AI addons may have an effect when only available on the server due to the engine nature that the server handles all AI which is NOT inside a player group (AFAIK). Mabes 0 Posted February 2, 2008 On the 31st's Server, we're using the following: 6thSense Pack 2 - Decreased AI Accuracy, Improved Range/Spotting ability (similar to the TrueRange, but not as extreme, with the TrueRange we were getting sniped from like 3KM away by AKs). DMSmokeEffects - Smoke that blocks the AI's view, using smoke grenades is actually useful for reviving buddies and E&Eing. Q11's Wind Deflection - Further decreases the AI's accuracy. ( I also ask for future working fallen tree viewblock ) I'm now testing some script like Six packs and proper gameplay did anyone of u test proper gameplay AA hit % decreased and Thank armour increased ? six pack name AIAccuracy is for reduction and works server side hehe I don't isntall because I belive it's for improve Ai... Now I'm testing a lot of addons / script on my home server, It's a P4D 3.4Ghz dual core @ 3.65 Ghz 1Gb Ram DDR1 400 (2x512) but with Evolution in the monitor and 6 player the frame in the city of Paraiso lowered from 47 to 16 !!!!
