wipman 1 Posted May 30, 2007 Hi, i think that that's the VBS2, but i just base this on how that targeting/weapon system, in the VBS2 you can (or must) use in a more realistic way, the weapons systems of the vehicles; which is a great thing; but i doubt that no one has made this for the ArmA. wipman 1 Posted May 30, 2007 Hi, right; is an ArmA mod; is that i haven't drinked enought coffee yet, so im still slow. I hope that we see this kind of mods that add realism into the weapons systems and that add too the same scripts for the infantry that the USMC Addon 1.0 brought to the OFP in it's day. That kind of things and what BAS did with the infantry, will be a great boost to the gameplay and then we'll just need more efficent bug cleaning, improved performance and in the spanish version... a proper translation instead a babel fish translation; a.k.a. Yeb 0 Posted May 30, 2007 It's a french mod already released which weighs about 665mo: it includes russian units, new sounds, ghillie suit, haemorrhage management, desert vehicules, and several other stuff. BIS just need to fix the main issues and the Community will to the rest. edit: i just entered their web site and saw the video. The radio sounds look like the ones ECP had. I just want to give my opinion on them. Some times it can be anoying to have those sounds. Is it possible to have radio silence or we have to hear all those repeted conversations? Skaven 0 Posted May 30, 2007 I installed that mod already, it will only work in version 1.05, the sounds, the effects and the changes made to the core engine are all pretty nice. The soldiers in my opinion could have been a lot better and you will understand why after installing it. This is the download link: oops already posted.
