leehy 0 Posted February 7, 2007 As for now, the ArmA is not released in South Korea. Therefore, we (Legion1985 Community) have decided to purchase the German version for the ArmA. Our site ans clan have decided to purchase 25EA and thankfully, Makhan, the Admin of http://buyarma.com(Info@buyarma.com) have promised us via e-mail that he could be a proxy for purchasing the Special Edition packages of the game. We have collected money and have transfered the money to the german bank account of BuyArma on 2006 november 23, and we had it confirmed in 2 days. On november 30, BuyArma have wrote on the forum that he have acquired 32 Special Edition packages including ours with the photo, and have kindly informed us the news through MSN. All seemed good and we expected that the game to arrive in couple of weeks. Until then, the BuyArmA had been in contact, and was very kind. And in the same day, they promised us that they would send us the packages in the coming week-the beginning of december-. They said that they would give us the tracking number after sending us all the parcels, but we couldn't contact them after it. We spammed them with 5~7of the 1lined e-mails, and they complained not to spam them, and they still did not give us the tracking number. We have additionally purchased 70Euro via Paypal for Normal package. So, we have to get 25Special Edition packages and 1normal package. But they have ignored our e-mails and didn't contact us at all. we have finally got the e-mail reply at 2007 january. And they only informed us that shipping fee was increased from 90euro from 280euro. We have complained on the BuyArmA forum about the reason for the increase of the shipping fee after spending a month. They answered that 90euro of the 280euro was paid from the first payement invoice(frist 98euro shipping), and buyarma have paid additional 65euro from the meaning of apology. than I have paid another 130euro(including 3% paypal commision fee) at my self, and we couldn't contact them for the next 2 weeks. So we sent them complainment through e-mail, and they said they couldn't sent the parcels because of the storm in germany from january17~19th.(this seemed true because the news said so.) http://www.gmx.net/de....KL.html And now, it is february, and they are not replying us through any forms of communication, and is still writing on the BI forum. This is ridiculous. Even after sending additional fee because of their mistake in calculation, we are still not receiving the parcels after spending more than 2 months. It is undoubtable that this is a fraud. And now they are posting that he is selling ArmA Special Edition http://www.ofpp.net/bbs/data/freebbs/Untitled_1.jpg and we are being ignored. This is clearly a fraud. We have records of their e-mails and some evidence, and we are collecting information of him and his community, and are contacting the local police and the Consumer Protection Boardof Korea. If you are trying to buy ArmA, You sould be extremely cautious about them. What else should we do in this kind of situation? As if publishers or bis can take someone else's company or site down? you gotto be joking right? Btw, Placebo deleted, removed, or silenced all threads and posts that had to do with buyarma.com, exactly to prevent this... and to protect consumers.... They did this because they could not verify buyarma.com.... Nobody listened to that and found it stupid and childish that buyarma.com was ripped out of every post.... Maybe you guys have a miss understanding with each other? this is 25s heavy ammo box, its going 70~80kg, Yeah I realise that and some guys from OGN were thinking about ordering the Special Edition aswell but decided to get the standard version as the ammo box would have cost to much to send from Germany to Australia and who knows what problems sending one of those boxes could cause. Â SOBR should have provided you with a tracking number for your shipment. Â Not providing his customers with a tracking number is a bit suspicious. I hope this gets sorted out for you leehy. Considering the service we got, this story seem at odds. Then again, trying to buy and import the Ammo Box version is to my mind a silly idea. The guy took your money, all he has to do is not answer your email and boom he dissapeared. What can you do? Nothing. And nobody buys something valuable with paypal because the chance you ever get your money back is 0. Just because he actually kept his words to some people doesn't mean he will do it to all. Initially I ordered on Dec. 20th, no show after 2 weeks, E-mail him, little response so I start calling Germany to find the package myself- impossible without track#. A week later he tells me it was stopped by customs in New York. 2nd copy sent out, now he's impossible to get in touch with. Finally after posting on his forum he tells me 2nd copy stopped at customs  Ask for money back, he tells me he has too much $ in paypal to send me $ 1 week ago, tells me he'll have his friend send me the money with different account - nada.    Oh yeah, heres the best part he asked me to post the situation was resolved on his forum Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Next time use common sense, and figure, well, it might not be a bright idea to have 25 large metal containers shipped to me from europe that say AMMO on them.
