VXR 9 Posted April 6, 2006 Thanks for the photo's all I have been working on a little extra that will be added with the Stryker, that is the reason there was not a update on the Stryker here. I do have almost the whole SLAT cage modelled.

VXR 9 Posted April 14, 2006 any updates?bump I did do some work on it, but It think I will wait releasing more screenshots untill the SLAT armor is skinned. I have less time to work on it because of my new job.. Just got home from working 11 hours non-stop.. and I'm quite drunk, its a ritual there to drink after work. Quote[/b] ]n00b Abs You are right, thank you for your reaction, looking at the time of posting now... I just got home from work. Last Easter days (2) I have worked 30 hours.. in just 2 days. And now I also had a long day of work. Let me explain it a bit, i just got a job at a beginning restaurant. Things are not running smooth there yet. Since I started there some areas are running better and better.. the only thing is.. I do have to put my time in it. But once it runs good.. it keeps running good and I will have more time. Now I have Monday and teusday off.. Saturdays also but that is the day I am with my girlfriend.. one day in a week I have time for her.. so imagine how much time work takes for me at the moment. I do work as much as I can on the Stryker on Mondays and Teusdays.. but people do not worry too much.. The Stryker will come.. for sure! Now I am off to bed because I have to be in Rotterdam at 9 so in 5 hours Stay tuned

Favonious 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Don't forget to make the Mortar Carrier Variant Bravo. Â I don't think I'm allowed to post my pictures of it but I'm sure you can find some online Looks like the Stryker is already implemented in Armed Assault as well... Elite SEAL 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Indeed, they try to pass ArmAs off as modern (the ACU in the latest ArmAs screenshots anyone?) And yet you still see M113's and the old 5 tons (and unarmed HMMWV's). When in fact they should be using HMTV's/FMTV's and HEMMT's, aswell as the Stryker of course. Bad BIS, no dessert for you .
herman01 0 Posted May 1, 2006 In BIS defence the M113 is still heavily in use by the U.S. Army usually in M113A3 version which I dont think I've seen in any of pics yet. I've never seen one with that type of turret on top either. I totally agree with all the other vehicles. It would be cool if they added fully armored ones if they do. You should look up what FMTV looks like uparmored. Makes sense though your very exposed to fire in those things.

Bobcatt666 0 Posted May 1, 2006 Sorry the old M35A2 is still seeing service time in the army, updated to the A3 standard or left in the A2 format and given super singles in place of the dualwheels. Still isn't ewenough FMTVs to go around, that and they are extreamly high maitanance and prone to constant breakdowns so many units retain the older vehicles. Still a lot of 800 series 5 ton trucks still in service as well, same reason no eletronics to break and easy to repair in the field. Usualy if a unit deploys the vehicles are turned back in and replaced when they come back to the US mainly because shipping them out to deployment they usu7aly come back in such poor shape its cheeper to replace than repair them.. Mossty all the damage the vehicle has gotten being loaded and unloaded from rail to ship, that and parts being stolen off them while in transit. Gotten CUCVs back from deployment just the shells anything removeable has been taken off by thieves. Or badly damagedd by careless dock workers with forklifts. bent driveshafts beds and cabs
