Wow, this new version looks amazing. I gotta try this out, looks great. Nice work on it, hats off. I always wanted a sky with cool stormy textures as well as clear. This offers both...just hope transitions are good.  notworthy.gif

Should look excellent with NI Mod Weather Pack. yay.gif

Nice sky but I'd recommend you not to tough the stars. The original stars.p3d is modelled after the real stars. I had new stars in my pack and it looks cool but I personally play without.

I guess you can take the moon textures from my pack. They were made by Hit_Sqd_Maximus but I doubt he would oppose it if you mentioned him in the readme.

What about improving the existing file? or scanning in a file from a "star atlas" ? huh.gif

The stars are not textures.. It's a sphere model with thousands of points reprecenting each star.

@NSX: The NVG's are made by INQ.

got it working, beautiful, all we need now is for the default islands to match the colour contrasts, the default ones look saturated against the sky/. thumbs-up.gif

Profe

Solve a problem of smooth transition from one texture to another I could not, as I have understood, all textures all of them should have as though one basis, and at me different.

Llauma

So I also planned to make, but have decided to try to make itself... Has made nine phases of the moon. I simply have not had time to make all phases of the moon.

Thanks for offer Llauma.

Codarl

I have not absolutely understood a question as not so I understand English... But something has translated smile_o.gif

The star sky more is sated stars and them it is visible better.

NSX

I shall try...

There is other way, it is necessary to replace corresponding files in :

..\res\dta\data.pbo

..\res\dta\data3d.pbo

..\res\dta\hwtl\data.pbo

..\res\dta\hwtl\data3d.pbo

Also it is not necessary 400 Mb wink_o.gif

great job on this just tried it but one little thing.

When on desertisland set the forecast and sky to far right then play it has an anoying obdvious little cloud in the cneter on its own and when you spin about you can tell its being repeated and looks kind of anoyng.

But apart from that its great.
