Thanks all for the kind words, I'm really glad you appreciate it.

smile_o.gif

Quote[/b] ]Btw, is there a list about new features?

Yes, click here.

Quote[/b] ]please can you upload a .rar download mirror

Ok, will do one.

Quote[/b] ]Link1 is broken,and link 2 downloads onky 512kb

512kb is good. there's a third mirror in anyway.

Quote[/b] ]also whats the patch for does it just fix some bugs or something ?

It fixes a couple of minor forgotten things when the upload has already started. (disadvantages of fixing a release date :-p)

Btw, I would like to thank the whole FFUR team for their input and great efforts, Benus for the ironsights, reven for the website updates, james, uziyahu and Dan for the military advising, tom for the beta-tests, silent for enhancing some addons, Big thanks to Tovarish for the great launcher he did, to ingram for the nice shots he did, and Special thanks to the talented guys of Swedish Forces mod for their great work we implemented in this last release, BWMOD and Terpentin for their kindness and their cooperation, UKF and DKM mods as well, special thanks once again to the whole mods being involved in FFUR and thanks to OFPC and OFP.cz guys.

Merry Christmas again.

Have fun!

I just finished a lengthy correspondance with T-bird in PM. In terms of FFUR, I don't think he will be willing to ask permission prior to incorperating mods into FFUR. This is the sense I got from his messages. So, not in lieu of my post to the addons rights board but prior to it, for all those concerned, I sincerely doubt he was change his policy at all. He's fairly firm on that. I'll present the creative commons license in the other thread soon as a method of recourse for those who are interested. This is not meant as a slight against FFUR, but the acknowledgement of an alternative point of view.
This thread is specifically for discussing FFUR, addon ownership rights (as important as they are) should be dealt with seperately, if they pertain to FFUR then directly to Thunderbird84, in more general terms then perhaps in the Addon/Mod Ownership Q&A thread.

Any further attempts to discuss/argue about addon ownership (from either side) will be met with a post restriction.

Won't lag if your comp's at least.

Quote[/b] ]

Windows XP

1.8 GHz Pentium 4 or Athlon XP

512Mb DDR RAM

400Mb Hard Disk Space (per pack)

For those wishing to use the Sky Pack and High Resolution Islands:

Fifth Generation Graphics Card (eg. GeForce 5 Series or Radeon 9 series)

This pack's smoother than all previous ones, all useless scripts have been taken out.

weird...should be due to a prob on your comp or your ofp's folder, there's no lag so far even on my 1.39/46 ghz, 448 sdram.

@Salvatore_Lee

for downloading such big files the best way is to use a DOWNLOAD MANAGER. even when the download stops the file is't broken ...

I use GET RIGHT e.g.

about the lag you have ... maybe check your setting ... in the OPTIONS menu and in your OFP Preferences Utilitie.

check your VIEWDISTANCE ... e.g.

FFUR runs very good even if it has lots of new models scripts and other stuff but it can't run as good as OFP with the same settings.

you can e.g. use a tool like FRAPS ... it can show you the FPS.

play arround in the settings ... e.g. shadows on and off and check if the FPS decreases.

What had you done? You've made my OFP beautiful again! biggrin_o.gif

This with a new graphics card for Xmas ment I can make my game look like the screenshots biggrin_o.gif

The land actually contrasts with the light aswell, so you get shadows in the hollows at last notworthy.gif

Hey that Longbow is like playing 'Apache Havoc' all over again! ..Anyone remember that game?

Noticed a problem with the armour value of the T-80TM though TB.  huh.gif

I don't know whether this is gonna break any missions, but I can't destroy these tanks with sachel charges or hand held AT weapons whilst messing around in the editor!  confused_o.gif In fact I can't even dammage them like this!

Otherwise this mod is looking awsome!  thumbs-up.gif

Merry Christmas all,

Excellent addon, I was messing around last night using the editor and man was it fun, the reflections, the sounds and the overall experience.

I just have one question, what's up with the ofp launcher?, I installed all 4-5 packs but yet when i double click the launcher it still says "download pack", when I click refresh It doesn't load or register any of the packs being installed.

Well done FFUR, you truely made OFP enjoyable again.

Any news on the 6.0 pack?, I'm anxiously waiting for its arrivial.
