FFUR - Huge Release !!

but germans are never part of the coallion... and the this force have problems with Bosnians, Craotians and Serbians...

if it's fictive, why say "a bit like what happened during the Serbian war"

However, there's a small problem with the mi-17. When I order my spetnaz squad to get in the heli, one squad member is sitting outside the helicopter at the height of the rotor.

Germany accually has the biggest contigent of troops in the balkans. And btw its the largest army in europe (numbers) except turkey.

And another bug (?!?). The real G36 has no burst. Just single and auto. I've shoot it myself during my armytime.

caused by one config saying there are more cargo slots than there are cargo proxies in the vehicle itself.

Hm, the meaning of this sentence's that the concept of the serbian war has been inspired for this european pack, the concept of a coallition of several countries opposed to one nation, and as mentioned, countries being represented in this fictionnal conflict are totally fictionnal as well.

The same goes if I would have chosen both gulf war conflicts as example but the subtlety of the fact that "Serbia" was used as example rather than the "gulf war crisis" or another previous crisis... is due to the fact that this conflict happened in EUROPE involving several european countries, and the peacekeeping missions that followed later have mostly been and mainly conducted by european countries.

Not more, and Not less.

In Kosovo and Bosnia, but during the war nothing... they didn't have he right to send military troops, as Japan army...

In 1999-2000 german army is in Balkans, French, British, Italian, Spanish and more since 1994-1995.

But if this version of FFUR don't use OFrP Addons it's because OFrP never accept that. Why? No flaming here...

So, it's more realistic to do a mod with finnish, swedish and norvegian addons by exemple, so, I know betwenn French and German army it's a good relationship, French ans Spanish, British stay with US for many thinks. It's french soldiers who told me that.

The chosen countries in the pack have been voted in the team.

If you'd like a mod that would include france, spain, norwey or italy, then go ahead and make yours.

So, I creat a folder "Europe", I put addons, and I use a mod as FDF or CSLA and I have my mod biggrin_o.gif (easy no?)

Just I don't understand the relation betwenn Germany, GB and Sweden when a mod would like be realist... just a question, but I found some aswer throught your answer.

My mean is you do a mod for a mod, no realist think...juste a new release, but I am maybe false, Dieu seul sait!

If U walk up to an empty MI17 and board as 'ride in back', you will be the one on top of the rotors regardless of how many seats the config sais there are inside!  tounge2.gif

If U ride like this U get a great view though!  biggrin_o.gif

we find an error when a mod use an addon.

I explain, the FFAA use the OFrP_armes.pbo, but when you use already the OFrP_armes.pbo on a other file (ex in RES/AddOns) you are a bug, the OFrP armes is in west and nothing in resistance! and you found mortars only.

This doesn't have anything to do with FFUR, your 'problem's statement' should be posted in FFAA or OFrP's thread.

rhooo, your are a leader of a mod yes or no? so the mod problems is your problem... because a configs problem stay a config problem, and I think it's interresting to compare the differents problems...

Maybe FFUR is no a mod, so mys last post is off topic...I am false?

Finally got a chance to play this for a while. Great stuff! Runs very smoothly, and the new lighting effects look great on landscape as well as vehicles.

Bug report - The AKMB still has the same problem the silenced and scoped AK had from the previous release - it fires way too high above where the iron sight is aiming.

In spite of how extremely busy I've been lately, I somehow made the time to try out the "Euro" release, and I have to say it runs very smoothly and the graphics are impressive (I love the landscape effects). It's completely enticing to explore all the new equipment now presented to me.

That said, I do have a few suggestions and/or concerns...

I'd like to offer a suggestion regarding the reflex site for the G36 (I'm pretty sure that this is the assault rifle I'm concerned about here). While I greatly admire how realistic all the scratches are on its lens, it's also frustratingly difficult to see through. The scratches make it almost impossible at times to locate the target. I actually find myself leaning into my monitor to try and see things more clearly! If possible, please reduce the number of scratches on the lens, because the lens it now has looks like it was "cleaned" with sandpaper.

A while back I also mentioned my hopes that the equipment loadouts would be adjusted to be more believable. I tested a couple of the Campaign Missions and found that many times I'm still stuck with only four magazines of ammo and five or more grenades. It'd be much more believable to make sure that a standard infantryman has 6-7 magazines of ammo, and 2-4 grenades.

In the past I think that I've already pretty well established my dislike for the zoom-in effect that occurs whenever one uses ironsights or some other aiming device that is non-magnified. That said, one of the things that strikes me as being weird is that when I'm using the G36 with reflex sites and the grenade launcher, that when I use the reflex sight my view is magnified, yet when I use the grenade launcher's sight my view remains normal. I guess I don't understand the logic here: why does my view become unrealistically magnified when using the non-magnified reflex sight, and yet my view remains realistically normal when I aim with the grenade launcher's sight? I thoroughly appreciated the fact that my view did not change while using the grenade launcher's sight, as I never once even came close to "loosing" my target when the sight was lifted to my eye.

If ironsights and non-magnified aiming devices are still going to be setup to "zoom-in" for the future releases of FFUR, is there a way for me to adjust a configuration setting somewhere so that the zoom-in effect is deactivated when aiming with non-magnifying means? Any advice would be greatly appreciated on this matter!

BUGS:

During my testing of Clean Sweep, a grenade I threw immediately blew up without there being a 3 second delay.

On a number of occasions I have witnessed AI shooting at their targets with ALL of their rounds harmlessly passing over the heads of their foes. It's almost as if they're "experiencing" so much recoil that their weapon only continues to elevate while they fire. Perhaps this is happening while they use the "fully automatic" mode, in which case maybe it'd be wise to set a five-round burst that the AI will always use while firing in the fully automatic mode.

Again, GREAT work TB, and I really appreciate all the hard labor that went into this thing. This release is an already smoothly running, and I look forward to see what more is in store!
