Placebo 29 Posted December 25, 2005 I just finished a lengthy correspondance with T-bird in PM. In terms of FFUR, I don't think he will be willing to ask permission prior to incorperating mods into FFUR. This is the sense I got from his messages. So, not in lieu of my post to the addons rights board but prior to it, for all those concerned, I sincerely doubt he was change his policy at all. He's fairly firm on that. I'll present the creative commons license in the other thread soon as a method of recourse for those who are interested. This is not meant as a slight against FFUR, but the acknowledgement of an alternative point of view. This thread is specifically for discussing FFUR, addon ownership rights (as important as they are) should be dealt with seperately, if they pertain to FFUR then directly to Thunderbird84, in more general terms then perhaps in the Addon/Mod Ownership Q&A thread.Any further attempts to discuss/argue about addon ownership (from either side) will be met with a post restriction. benus 0 Posted December 25, 2005 @Salvatore_Lee for downloading such big files the best way is to use a DOWNLOAD MANAGER. even when the download stops the file is't broken ... I use GET RIGHT e.g. about the lag you have ... maybe check your setting ... in the OPTIONS menu and in your OFP Preferences Utilitie. check your VIEWDISTANCE ... e.g. FFUR runs very good even if it has lots of new models scripts and other stuff but it can't run as good as OFP with the same settings. you can e.g. use a tool like FRAPS ... it can show you the FPS. play arround in the settings ... e.g. shadows on and off and check if the FPS decreases. benus

Journeyman 0 Posted December 25, 2005 Hey that Longbow is like playing 'Apache Havoc' all over again! ..Anyone remember that game? Noticed a problem with the armour value of the T-80TM though TB. Â I don't know whether this is gonna break any missions, but I can't destroy these tanks with sachel charges or hand held AT weapons whilst messing around in the editor! Â In fact I can't even dammage them like this! Otherwise this mod is looking awsome! Â
Comm 0 Posted December 25, 2005 Merry Christmas all, Excellent addon, I was messing around last night using the editor and man was it fun, the reflections, the sounds and the overall experience. I just have one question, what's up with the ofp launcher?, I installed all 4-5 packs but yet when i double click the launcher it still says "download pack", when I click refresh It doesn't load or register any of the packs being installed. Well done FFUR, you truely made OFP enjoyable again. Any news on the 6.0 pack?, I'm anxiously waiting for its arrivial.
