CSLA 2 Update1

CSLA campaigns have heavy battles with a lot of units , sometimes more than 70 ... if you notice any lag with FFUR effects then change your stuff to CSLA smile_o.gif

OH,Shit, guys, it's the best cold war pack ever saw in OFP! Would test it in mission editor and come back with more comments.

Anyhow, looks so awesome and promising, especially those nice vehicles and soviet army! As before,the Soviet AFV vehicles from CSLA are always impressing and very realistic! Those Czech troops also very nice in texture but just a  pity, I'm not so interested in Czech army. But I kow you guys put most concentration on Czech troops instead of Soviet red army. Otherwise, your Soviet soldiers would be even much more better. The two weeks delay and waiting are worthy.

iv got an issue dont know if its an bug or what but when i start up CSLA update and go to mission eddit all the islandes are white the whole map is wite no green grass and on two maps when i got to show map or that button to show the land it goes to black screen then to desktop huh.gif i dident have CSLA instaled befor this is my first dl and on the first mission on the canpaigne its all wite cant see the words that they are speking is this an bug, or what do i do huh.gif plzzz help help.gif

Awesome work, I just noticed two things:

- Driver proxies in HMMWV's are a bit to the right, haven't checked the cargo proxies.

- On some vehicles when you turn the lights on at night it shows light cone but no light in front of it, it only lights up when above 1.5-2m height or at an angle.

I agree. I'm loving the Resistance BMPs, too. The CSLA team has some amazing texture artists.

What is the exact model of the T-80, anyway? It looks like a T-80BV to me, but I'm not positive because there are so many T-80 models.

Mig-21 is unplayable with joystick.

If you roll left or right, the plane makes "5000 rolls per minute".

i ? no body know why i got plan wite islands everon and like all of the first 3 maps the BIS maps are plane wite ground text the trees are green lol but not the ground and the desert one is not wite but all the others are sad_o.gif what is this what do i do confused_o.gif

This lags soooooo bad... with FFUR effects and without... playing with CSLA 2 is like watching slideshow banghead.gif

Strange i can run FFUR with big battles without lag whistle.gif

Im playing through the campaign with FFUR and I have no prob.

So it's not everyone.

Use the BIS fx instead.

This is awesome. Easily the best mod out there.

Only thing that annoys me is that the DShK sounds like a freaking lazer. I hate the sound it makes.

Leaning, tracers, and effects all kick ass.

Are there any servers running deathmatch or anything of the sort?

Great work guys! Absolutely love it so far. Extremely happy that you included Operation Paranoid. Releasing two campaigns with a mod is freaking awesome. I wish other mod teams follow your example and stop releasing addons-only mods. Have no problem running the mod with FFUR effects. Didn't notice any lag during gameplay. There was some lag during long intro, but since I saw it ages ago anyway I just skipped it. Was extremely surprised to see that CSLA and Russian soldiers actually look way better in-game than on screenshots. Just need a bit more variety I guess (hinting about Lacerta). Love the new GUI. Didn't find any major bugs so far.

im i missing something or what the three BIS islands are all white the ground text is white. what is this all about and how can i fix it crazy_o.gif the desert island is fine but the everon one and the others i have no ground text its white ground:hm: plz man some one help me

This one is awesome! Great work.

BTW, I got a message like "missing addons: dsl_a10" during CSLA2 campaign in the first mission with FlashFX. "DSL_a10.pbo" is in my CSLA Addons folder, of course. Did I something wrong?

Great Update, well worth the wait I have to say. I am very glad to see the DSHKs as well as the new Mig-21s and new replacement for the old BIS T-80. Going to have quite a bit of fun over the next few days, thanks for releasing and your time ofcourse.

OK spent the whole day playing it.

One bug I found was when I was firing the MG in the T72. Looking down the scope there be two tracers. One coming for the ground and one from the gun huh.gif

After 4 hours of intense and happy playing I've found some bugs too

- 125mm gun sound is too weak

- OT64C gunner optics don't elevate with the gun

- 500 rounds of HE for the KVPT is devasting, maybe reduce it to 250

- ZSU 23-2 ammunition -> 750 rounds are a way too much, better get the own ammo class instead of using the standard 23mm mag for Shilka, Mig21 etc

- DShK ammunition, 1000 rounds are too much for this small mag

That's all for now

All in all CSLA team has done a great job on this mod.

You have to reinstall OFP or if you already have a copy of it then og in to data folder and get the eden, able and cain pbo and copy em back to the OFP(in whitch you have CSLA installed) data folder.

Worked for me.

and a bug CSLA soldiers are missing textures in one of the last LODs.

Great addon you guys - spent most of last night tinkering around the mission editor with it, then managed to barely escape with my life on the dynamic mission smile_o.gif. Anyway, silly noob question; is there a way to mix the CSLA mod with the FDF mod? I have tons of stuff with FDF units in and I'd really like to add some of the CSLA units to them in the mission editor. Any advice?

Not possible because each mod has its own config , but if you have some knowledge in config editing then you can mix both cpp in one though (for your own use of course.)

Maa, undoubtedly, your Czech army addon has been very nice in CSLA Mod released. The new soviet troops are also awesome. But I think you could add some more kits to those russian soldiers to make them better, such as the case of baynet and etc. And could also put the map case, pistol and binocular cases to the russian officer. I know RHS has put those to their russian officers in the motorized army pack. It may be a good reference.
