given the pictures, i say there's pretty good chance that it will envelope both eastern europe and africa. the desert pics might be saharas and the green forest could be eastern europe.

Well i thought it looked like a minaret of a mosque more , then a church ... could be church who knows the damn smoke is blocking the crucial part , arghhhh BIS and their mystery mongering .

So this could be a african country with a christain populace or if its a mosque muslim. which country in africa has a desert and contains folks from the divine religion , lets narrow done the list .

As the first channel on flashpoint2.com says.. Tune to a different channel for another program from BIS. So you switch to channel 2 and you will see the other 'program' from BIS which is the xbox version. The channel 3 is OFP2. The main channel will soon contain some real info about OFP2..

This is at least what I believe..

By the way i ran this through PS and bloody hell now it looks like Real LIFE , the difference is minimal hard to say its a game. And i think its a mosque because the pillars have triangular arcs instead of the usual circular ones in churches usually .

It is too early to speak about the heads it is still WIP so they might change it for final release

edit:also everything can be changed it is too early maybe they decide to make a 2D OFP2 like old games viewing only from side

On the demo of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory the heads and arms was very plastic look-a-like and glossy, but when the final release came the gloss was faded down so that it looked more realistic.

Now that we've heard OFP2 as well , what do you guys make of the timeline of the story here? Vietnam ? I guess it must be after all theres a AAV then marines plus a heuy what more is left?

But theres that T-80/90 which brings this down .

It isn't vietnam.

The AAV7 is still used by the USMC, and will be until the AAAV is ready.

The UH-1 is still used.

MARPAT did not exist in Vietnam.

Those definitely aren't M16A1s (look like A4s to me.)

You can see what appears to be an M249 in one shot.

And then of course you have the Abrams and HMMWV.

Definitely not Vietnam.

Besides, they changed the look of the OFP2 site, remember? Initially it was a '60s era TV set. Then it changed to a plasma screen with pictures of MH-6s and various other things.

That would seem to indicate to me that they changed the focus a long time ago.
