That's the whole premise of this pack... The only reason I'm currently using popstars faces is because of the lack of portrait faces of real service women.

I've got a couple at the moment and I'm working on it. But this is DEFINITELY not another pop-stars Amazon pack. - The fact I will ship out the final version with a voice pack is so as there is a better representation of females out there in OFP land. Sure there are famous people in here, but it's the same with guys, lots of celebrity faces that we also like to use.

The face pack may have celebrities in it, but those won't just be the only faces there. As I mentioned earlier I will be layering camo options for all the faces I'm doing, so we'll have to see how it goes.

@placebo, thanks, I plan to make a GI JANE face for both female and male heads, because she's a pretty stocky woman.

Will have some decent screenshots tommorrow hopefully.

If you go to MilitaryPhotos.net and run a search for 'Pictures of women in the military from your country' you'll find 118+ pages of 'chicks with guns'... Not that I've actually ever looked in the thread.

Actually for that matter it's probably highly dodgy 'using' people's image without their prior permission...though I can't say whether the matter would be legally, or ethically questionable (probably both).

And please for the love of god no Pvt's Lynch and England...

As for medics? Well, I suppose a Florence Nightingale wouldn't hurt...she can hardly sue from the grave...

BTW, what's with the 'females' stuff? This some kinda american thing? What's wrong with 'women' or 'girls'...'females' just sounds, well, odd

Seems like most of the guys are going for the "yay female soldiers to kiss n make love to"   maybe this on a wargame disgusts me because I come from a family which military pretty much flows in our veins,by being disgusted I don't mean the female soldeirs being pu tinto the game,I mean how some of the guys see them as nothing but objects,I see them just as equal soldiers as the men,perhaps some even more than equal,this pack will be great for realism,all you see in OFP are male soldiers,rarely female faces at all,most people,given the lack of mind would think its a YMCA thing or something.

No the female and woman thing is not an american thing or anything,well sort of...its the whole battle of the sexes or genders if you prefer,male vs female,women vs men,just seems that people prefer to use the scientific term "male" and "female" rather than "woman" and "man".

iam in the Army and i can tell you that ther is alot of good looking girls in my regiment

So this pics are not to bad for a non fighting soldier girl but after 24h in the woods fighting no one looks good ther is dirt and shit every wher

Good news everyone, I've just finished recording the first of the female voicepack radio voices, and it's sounding great!!  She has a bit of an Australian accent, but it fits very well into the OFP world, along with my own voice replacement.  

Trouble is I don't know how to config very well, so at the moment I've had to replace one of the original voice.pbo with with the female voice.

I tried using one that isn't used very often.  -> Marc.  If anyone has any configging ideas or better voices to replace give me a PM.

With the description.ext function I can set the identities for females to use that voice.  

If anyone has any ideas as to how exactly I can add more voices into a pack configwise... I am quite willing to listen, but I may just release a beta with just the one voice, a working female p3d player model in fatigues, as well as the face pack with current complated faces for just a beta.

But yes the female Voices are working GREAT.

Is anyone interested in testing this out?

Also if I want to post up a very early beta test version of this addon (which will show off mainly the voice pack, and faces... the model will be very basic) (coming very soon - after I finish the demonstration model) , where would I able to get hosting for it?

Why don't you take a look at the russian voices pbo from BIS? Well actualy I am pretty sure voices in OFP are tied to Identities, which I think you can create new ones in the config, and then set your female soldiers to use them.

I have to look at the original config.bin for OFP, and see if I can add it manually, but I don't know whether or not it will still need to replace the original Config file for OFP. Ahh well, I tinker with it and see what I can do.

At the moment the woman's voice I have at the moment seems to go very well in the test mission I've created. (She still has man death cries... does anyone know how to change the death and movement sounds in the config? I can make new female death sounds, but I know BAS did it somehow with their Tonali female rebels)

I've currently got my voice on there too, which has a slight Australian accent.

I also plan to do a guerilla/civ radio voice, with more "relaxed" radio terminology, rather than the strict and formal commands that already exist.

Eg. "1, get back into formation" -> "1, come back here..." etc..

For both male and female.

Faces are also going well, I plan to have Kiera Knightly, Demi Moore, Demi Moore in Camo ala GI Jane, a reworked Monica Belluci, that random asian chick that BoA wants, Jennifer Connolly + many others (sorry no Britney..) and some very butch looking military faces out there really soon.

As for the demonstration model, I may just need to use an old Angelina.P3D I've edited, It's not that fantastic, although I would like to get something along the line of a female version HYK's "man" addon. My O2 skills are pretty crap, so if anyone would like to donate a rudimentary model of a girl in fatigues (you don't need to do the head, I just need the body) to this project I would very much appreciate it.

(At the moment for screenshots, I'm using a personally edited P3D version BWMOD's female medic which I don't have permission to release)

We really need more custom female faces in operation flashpoint that increases the amount of realty in some missions.

Seeing how some of the male expressions translate onto female faces in OFP I think this would work well.

At the moment I've hit a wall, currently my the model I'm using for demonstrating the faces and voices is not allowed to be released, because it's part of the BWMOD. I am in need of a basic P3D of a woman in fatigues, but as I mentioned before I am fairly bad at 02. Can anyone help me out?

It's a bit of a catch 22, because at the moment no body wants to create female units because there's no proper voices and identities to go with them. But now there's a voice and faces, there's no addons to use them with.

If anyone would like to help, I will provide the basic head model P3D model with the changeable textures, nvgoggles proxy and glasses proxy.

If any other mods want to help, I will provide my voicepack and faces for their pack.

Anyway a quick example of what I'd like.

When i went to Canjuers (the most military base in Europe) to pass my medical visit (I'll enter in 3°RAMa as reservist) I see many wife... I know a wife who is "adjudent chef" and she commanded 7 men :d

Maybe you sould look the french army....At war, wife or not, she is a soldier and she can save your body, I prefer serve under a wife than under a crazy man
