It has been happening to me that the large amount of sounds in a battle sometimes caused a crash, I solved it by reducing the hardware acceleration and sound quality in the sound settings of my computer. ExtracTioN 0 Posted September 20, 2005 Don't see why my settings wouldn't be ok; it's pretty much a fresh install, plus all my drivers (of my hardware) are updated and such. It happens randomly too, like I can just be watching a battle and it'll crash. Perhaps it might be triggered  by the death of a particular unit? I have no idea really.. If you haven't solved the crash problem this can help Make a shortcut of FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.exe and than add these lines to the shortcut -nosplash -nomap mine looks so. See anyone can make a normal horse, but only we can do a green and violet one Heheh, kidding...no all horses are brown, but the evil spirit of Windows Movie Maker is messing with my movie. (redcoat and cap! can't remember his name But You got to have a White horse for RE Lee... I resently ploted out 2nd bull run Campaign but my mate who does all the Scripting went to Uni...damn eh. So I put that on hold (for now) If I can help in anyway I will. mostly sit and Read about it... But...now that we've got the horses, I made some additional riders: You already know the Virginia cavalryman, next is one of Terry's Texas Rangers, and last two are Quantrill's Guerillas (the last wearing a Union Cavalry jacket and cap as disguise, but showing his Guerilla shirt underneath...). If anyone saw the movie Ride With The Devil, you'll know who these guys are. Union riders, such as 1st U.S. Hussars and Merrill's Horse coming soon... Is there any possibility of improving the facial hair a bit, out of interest? I know it's the least of your worries, but making it less obvious would ne nice :P. Maybe rustling up some darker faces too; the Pennsylanian sun would have been hard on the flesh of Union and Confederate troops alike. Nice variety of units; I like! There were Austro-Hungarian, French, British, Prussian, etc officers present all over the place. After all, a real war is an excellent training ground for any army, beats any maneouvres. Though I guess, if you've made both the rider and the horsey be units, a random movement script could be triggered after the rider's death. And oh, can I kill people by just riding on 'em? I'd like to see the bayonet multiple addaction in MP fixed....or has it been fixed? we've been playing with a modified script since we've  had the problem so we don't see it .
