@Heatseeker: Post the bugs. I will not Update the FK_HMMWV but all found bugs will removed ( i hope) in the next package which contains several USMC units including the HMMWV pack.

Well, just dont want to be called a whiner or to be nitpicking the addons...

Alright, the armor value seems very high, i have to really put alot of ammo to damage these beautys.

Exaust smoke, i noticed that it works correctly in the armed and normal hmmwv and Avenger but on the canvas, open and cargo versions the smoke doesnt come out of the exaust (i told you it was minor, sry sad_o.gif ).

The front lights might be a little off and i too get the jumpy TOW but seeing has it is a workaround and not suported by the game its all cool smile_o.gif .

I didnt find any red sights in any of the armed versions, all work well here.

I have noticed that we can shoot and kill the ocupants if we shoot the doors of the canvas hmmwv, awesome atention to detail on that feature, great!

All cargo animations are also great and i really love how if the gunners of the TOW, MK-19 and M2 are shot and killed their dead bodies stay on the hatch with nice dead anims.

You even made nice little icons for all diferent hmmwv's, its impossible not to love the high quality of this addon and all the small details that make it great, beautyfull and functional.

Oh, maybe you could put a turret sound for the Avenger if you ever update the pack in any future project.

There, i couldnt help pointing out some of the things i really love about the addons too, and i hope HMMWV makes a desert retexture of your units.

I have no sound when firing any of the weapons - either mounted or tripod versions.

The impact sound is there, but the firing sound is missing...anyone else have this?

Edit - To reiterate - *every* weapon in the pack generates an abominable bass sound when fired. The impact sounds are all good, but none of the firing sounds work.

TOWs, Mk19, .50cal, Avenger weapons...all of them. Using headphones the bass sound could drive you insane...I've really been looking forward to the Mk19 and TOW hummers but cannot use them.

Those that speak of replacing the sounds - are you un-pbo'ing the addon and swapping out wave files, then re-pbo'ing?

Will future versions include a script to where the Humvees will randomly break down at critical points in a mission like in real life? tounge_o.gif

Fischkopps according to the speedometer on your humvee's they achieve only 20mph offroad.  in the Y2K3 humr replacment it will be able to achive 60mph (acording to your speedometer)  biggrin_o.gif oh and of course a CD player

PS: awaiting reports from beta tester one and for #2 to sign on so i can ensure the installer has everything before release

about the sounds. The sounds working fine. I don´t know why your´s do not work. Maybe try to download it again?

Those that speak of replacing the sounds - are you un-pbo'ing the addon and swapping out wave files, then re-pbo'ing?

I have unpacked the HMMWV Pack and all the COMBAT! stuff(Bradley, M113, HEMMT, Scripts.pbo's).

There are different .wss and .ogg sounds in both packs and I replaced some of the sounds in the HMMWV Pack with some out of the COMBAT! addons.

Now I have the nice M2 sound from the M113 and the Stinger launcher sound from the M6 Linebacker. I want to replace the TOW and MK19 GL too, maybe today.

I'm wondering, does not everybody has that sound problems?!

abotu the sound I also replacing this. Found some really good ones. Recorded only 5 meters away of IFAV mounted with Mk19/m2 on a USMC shooting range. I´ve already tested they and they sound really cool ...

wow_o.gif looking forward to those. Good sounds are hard to find and strangly every game (?!) has a different sound for the same weapon (best example is the M16). Only very few are good and accurate.

Good and accurate sound which are loud enough, but not too loud are a real plus.

Great work!

Tested them out this morning and I saw one strange thing: In some vehicles, when you are in the gunners seat (and there are no other soldiers in the vehicle), the hummvee starts vibrating when you lower the weapon. Have no idea how that happens, maybe a LOD issue.

Overall great work, can't wait for that USMC pack smile_o.gif

I am using nforce2 onboard sound.

I think it's an Ofp engine bug,I have that issue too,not only with Fischkopp's Humvee but also with Op. Northstar Lavs and other old Humvee's with M2,it's pretty bad cause I can't hit anything.

Doh! I have the uscg pack installed which it is right underneath so my mind registered it as saying "USCG car" instead of USMC.

Excellent work FK, this is by far the best Humvee pack out there.

I almost forgot crazy_o.gif , the cargo animations for the half top and open hmmwv arent right when we ride in the back, i experienced this with 5 a.i. units and myself in the back seat of the mentioned 2 hmmwv's.

It works good in 3rd person view but when i switch to 1st i apear in the middle of the hmmwv like i was in gunner position or something rock.gif , just to let you now smile_o.gif .

I hope i understood right. If you enter a vehicle the LOD for the Cargo is missing? I have tried this empty hmmwv (open) me and 5 AI. I´m the driver ... no probs ... i´m a passenger. no probs. a pic would help me alot.

sry no webspace atm, but its easy to reproduce:

Select the 5 bots and point them at the hmmwv so they enter (half top or open version). Then enter yourself into the last available cargo position. Now switch from 3rd to 1st person or the other way around, i could take and mail you a couple pics but i dont think it is hard to find this small bug rock.gif .

a missing proxy in cargo lod. a have fix that

I have tried all other cargo positions and all other's seem to work fine.

I do hope that if we ever see another version of the pack you will put reload sounds for the M2 and MK-19 and turret sound in the avenger wink_o.gif .

Very nice work......Well I tested them on a dedicated server....and the tow and the avenger fire multiple missiles when they launch.......is this something that can be fixed?? biggrin_o.gif

there were 3 of us testing and 3 missles came out at once.

Oh...the ai engage targets great too....thx fisch

PLZ FishKopp release an Update, with Fixed Sound und the right LODs and the right carfo proxys plz! Because with these bugs this Wunderful and best HMMWV Addon isnt able to ply for many users ! blues.gif
