Pierre From Belgium 0 Posted November 5, 2006 the video is now available at OFP Movie Makers  Thank you for the upload supershooter...  Great video. I liked it alot some lovely shots in there. Good job Pierre  Also pierre what specs is your computer i noticed you were recording with water reflections and my computer lags with water reflections let alone whlst recording  Thanks 456820 ! For the water reflections, I can't explain it... Excellent video, great timing of footage with the music, excellent use of the effects, suprisingly no lag whatsoever. All in all I would rate this as one of the best. I hope that you will make more in the future Pierre. Sure, I m gonna make other vids using the same specs and as I said, it's for me a basic video because it took me only several hours to film and edit it... and there isn't any clear story > My next video will be more impressive: audio files + story STAY TUNED ! Average Joe 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Really Eye-catching video Pierre and performed amazing, The ONLY thing I noticed was a high amount of slow motion, great for catching more onscreen but I kinda felt like OFP itself had slowed down. But that said I think you've got a great eye for camera angles and I wanna see more!
Pierre From Belgium 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Absolutely Average Joe… You are right, I used in this film more slowmotions in order to work more on the visual. In comparison with my video n°5 for example, I worked twice more time in adobe than in ofp... as lifeless does not have real sounds, I must put this effect to "replace" the sound, I would say... mazza 1 Posted November 7, 2006 Pierre that LIFELESS vid is !!fantastic!!!! like all the others I have collected from u and others on this thread Now please BIS (i beg), I hope you send Pierre a copy of AA so there will be some vids with some substance/quality being distributed throughout the web. Some of the external vids of AA (not naming any sources) are doing the game damage IMHO for players not familiar with game
Mr Sarkey 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I agree with you Mazza. Some videos are very bad.
Pierre From Belgium 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I really appreciate your comment mazza ! Thank you But as I've said this video is not particulary succeed on the cinematography aspect. I've chosen to put just some addons on desert island, with only 2 commands : this exec “camera.sqs†and setacctime 0.02! That's all! Anything else! It is a simplistic film, with no precise scenario. Lifeless was just for the fun, just for my comeback...  (Perhaps I should have to wait to diffuse a video more interesting instead of making this one which does not have any real interest…) Now please BIS (i beg),  I hope you send Pierre a copy of AA so there will be some vids with some substance/quality being distributed throughout the web. Some of the external vids of AA (not naming any sources) are doing the game damage IMHO for players not familiar with game A B S O L U T E L Y !!!!!! I mean, the AA marketing departement is really euuhh.., B A D...!!! Sorry guys ! You know you could easily controled the diffusion of the aa trailers and tried to increase highly the quality (fps) of your movies...AA look so perfect on picture and so "ugly" on several videos, why ??ONLY because you don't take time to edit your promotion "professionally" Sorry... Sorry* BIS, but as mazza talked about it, I say it honestly I'm quite disappointed with your first aa trailer: I thought you would made a more impressive trailer for  M Y  F A V O R I T E  G A M E  since 2001 !!  So please, do something from your "labs", create for your OFP community a REAL EXPLOSIVE AA trailer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please....!!! PS:Now, a copy of aa to make video...?? Why not ? I know... lol (*and for my pooring english too)
mattxr 9 Posted November 7, 2006 Yeah we need to promote Vid making for OFP and ArmA!! Its a Must. We need lots more Great Videos
MehMan 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Indeed, the OFP movie making scene is very under nurished compared to other games and OFP is almost equal in looks to those games and in most cases better in gameplay than those other "inferior" games. Pierre, could you tell me your specs?
