equipment are too good and sf green berets still use their m4a1 sopmods even when theyre blending in, even western mercs use m4a1 sopmds and hks so these guys gotta be russian

Didn't it say in the report though they where mercs? That a company had despatched men and armored support to the area. So they are mercs. Its Tonal armor (well UAZ) aswell.

Ive heard SelectThis is modeling for BIA's VBS1, i hope that the BAS vehical desert pack is still going to be a BAS release to the public and not exclusive VBS1 content . That and the S.E.A.L. fast atack vehical we saw some time ago...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again! AK-74s can not be fiitted with a supressor, beacuse they can't fire the sub-sonic rounds. Only modified AKSUs have that feature. I am a little dissapointed that BAS, that is known for its heavy research and commitment to realism, has joined a long list of mods that have made this mistake...

That's not to say that I don't apreciate the work that BAS has put into this pack!

Well... seal or no seal these models look very good, straight backs, the arms look more like arms and not legs and that ammo belt detail on the PK'er and textures look damn impressive.

I admit that the Tonal theme and mercenaries isnt what i was hopping for but whatever comes out of this seems to be of very high quality standards and BAS got permition to use Earl's weaps so...looks like i will have to search for my Tonal cd .

The weapon doesn't need to have the ability to fire subsonic rounds to be able to fit a supressor. The subsonic rounds simply rid the user of the sometimes quite loud "trans-sonic" crack produced when using supersonic ammunition. So all in all subsonic ammunition is more of a luxury addition to suppressed weapons, not a necessity

Looking nice by the way BAS lads, good to see some news from the factory of secrets. I hope you do some MD-500's and some Mi-24's in "mercenary colors"

ummmm where are ak 74's???

i only see AKSU's and some other gun with a silincer that is too hard to make out .... "but does not resemble an ak"

AKSU's are easy to tell appart from ak47 / 74's as the SU has a folding stock and is somewhat like one of them dogs that look like they have hit a brick wall at 50mph/kph "shorter and stubbier in other words" and thier *cough*d|lD0*cough* as some call it , silencer

osrry to dissappoint but thats VBS1 anyone else recognize the stance thats def VBS1 stance unless someone made them an animation pack

Am I right in thinking that this addon will be for OFP and VBS-1?

On the last pic thirtyg posted, the mercs (we seem pretty adament that they're mercenaries now so...) in the top image, standing next to the BTR-T (a Tonali camo reskin of PSC's by the looks) look like they have more the more detailed heads and arms of VBS-1 models rather than the sqarer heads of the models shown in the bottom pic of the units riding UAZs which I presume are the OFP counterparts.

On the other hand I could be talking crap...

Nice work as with all the addons BAS have done (and are doing). I have no worries about these being poor quality or anything like that, (how can I, it's BAS?) I'll just wait contented for a release... hopefully soon.
