One of Mi-35N/Hind downed my mechanical failure while inbound and forced to land near the shore dinsmount and secure the postion to await support elements to make repairs. KA-60 Flight group Kesteral continue on leaving Hind escort behind and attempt to link up to another flight group already nearing the hot LZ. KA-60 Kesteral one one orders low level flying as they reach enemy sam range. Ordering artillery fire on a suspected postion, the hill side is alight with fire shortly after a barage from Smerch launches and the chopper group continues on its movement. Kesteral one one moves into insertion postion to fast repell ground units into the town and secure it. Kesteral flight group on station moving to next way point to begin extraction operations once most ot heavy enemy hostile ground fire is supressed by Hind Havoc and Aligators battle groups. Leveling into the LZ just as the rope/ladders are dropped for troops to board the KA-60s and move to the new battle postions as the enym attempt a flanking move on weakend element of the 20th Guards.
