Pappy,

I get a missing addon throwror (or something similar) whenever the first RPG/LAW is fired. Any idea what this might be?

dont know what would be causing that. "missing addons: throwkok" was part of the effects pack when a body exploded u got that error. but i fixed that a few versions ago

PS: resistance expansion mod may not be possible right now. im havign difficult depboing the o.pbo even thou i used cut pbo. crazy_o.gif so perhaps ill just update it using the chevy corvette in place of the sports car smile_o.gif (editor name will remain the same). animatons will NOT be retained. as they arent that imperative smile_o.gif

please note this is only a fun addon that i did just to make mine and my freinds OFP more fun. becuz i love to fly and i needed a kickin civilian plane. so its only fair i share it with you.

i PMed kegety asking for permission to release it but its been 3 days and he hasnt responded so just know the model and interior textures is his doing and he deserves that credit. everything else i did  tounge_o.gif

Umm, I have to say, I love this, Ive been wanting to use things like the BAS, SIG, and INQ addons in a campaign for a looong time, but... Whenever I shoot someone for the first time I get something that says "missing script /ofpec/bloodsquirt_sqs" or something like that. Ive installed everything you put up, I think, and still get it, any ideas

This first happened with the explosion blood, but now is for anything.

forgot to mention. get your fav car addon and in the init line place

_this exec "\ssv_documents\init.sqs"

for the booster script and Music Menu to work for them too smile_o.gif

i suppose i could update it. but if you want to add your own its very easy once u figure it out

after you get the song, convert it to .ogg rename the song to rad11 (or rad 12, 13, so on and so forth) then

Step 1: depbo the ssv_documents addon

Step 2: open up the config

Step 3: in the cfg sound section add this after rad10

class rad11

{

name="Song Name";

sound[]={"\ssv_documents\music\rad11.ogg",db+30, 1.0};

};

ok now save the config

open the following scripts

off

radio

track1

track2

track3

track4

track5

track6

track7

track8

track9

track10

ok now where it says

add in "_car removeaction id_r_nxt11" to the track 1 -10 and off scripts

then save all of them

in the radio.sqs add in

id_r_nxt11=_car addaction ["Song Title", "\ssv_documents\track11.sqs"]

copy track10.sqs open it, change

_car Say "rad10"  

to

_car Say "rad11"

and resave it as track11.sqs

repbo. and your finished. it sounds complicated. but its easy as hell. i was thinking of updateing it. but you prolly wont like the songs i choose  tounge_o.gif . besides like i said its cleint side anyway. so if player1 is jammin to "up in here" and ur ridding in back u can put on "your song" and he wont hear it. and you wont hear his. so everyone wins  smile_o.gif

couldn't you make a addon pbo so that you don't see all the original config of the addon makers like Sig armor or HYK 03

it would give me the choice of using the addons i want

or would this be alot of work (not sarcastic just ignorant)

i see what your saying. edit the config so that their units dont show up in game. well first off that would piss off a good many people. but you can do this yourself if you want. depbo the addon. and take out the config file. and your done. thats waht the csla pbos are. their model and texture only.

i see what your saying. edit the config so that their units dont show up in game. well first off that would piss off a good many people. but you can do this yourself if you want. depbo the addon. and take out the config file. and your done. thats waht the csla pbos are. their model and texture only.

Step 1: depbo the addons

Step 2: delete "config.ccp"

Step 3: repbo the addon

Step 4: go play tounge_o.gif

just a quick update to the rest. im in the process of replacing the bmp2 with cslabmp2 (work in progress). the resistance bike with the "dawg" bike (done), and the CH47 is stayin the same until i get a retextured one from somewhere.

Version 3.3

Changes:

Sports Car white and yellow aka rapids -> black barrons Corvette and Corvette GS/R (user actions not retained)

BMP2 -> CSLA bmp2

Bike aka kolo -> Dawg Matic (moutian bike)

you will need to redownload the config and the Misc Addons pack (20MB)

the misc includes updated csla_arm as well as the bmp2, kolo, and dawg (bike)

In your Addons folder you will find Kolo.pbo, BMP2.pbo both of these addons need to be moved to a backup folder (or however u back up your addons) as the new bmp2 and kolo pbos will over write them/take thier place smile_o.gif

Refer to Page 1 for links to the Corvette, configs, and updated misc pack

new update.

the flies over the dead body's are back. had to implement it manualy with a killed event handler.

i cant for the life of me get the ECP effects workin again. i recently aquired a partner on this project perhaps he can do it.

removed the 21vb glider version due to too many bugs, even in SP. hopeing to incorperate the ECP effects including the HALO thing but for all units.

Thanks Pappy for all your hard work. Although I don't play OFP as much as I used to, your setup certainly makes a world of difference for those of us who are clueless about modifying the config. It is a lot of fun to go back and play some of the old missions with the new units and vehicles.

Hey pappy.. I was playing 1985 campaign with old version and I was having no problems at all, but this new version always CTD when I try to loading a game, i.e, everytime i die and need to load to continue,  the game crashes.. The error is about a invalid entry on the saved file.. why is this happening?

back when i started playin this game lnog before addos and mods i used to get that error from time to time. . . i think its a random game problem crazy_o.gif

pappy please try just to remove bad errors disfonctionning the game or remake a good version without errors and bugs...

In my game the cobra is missing in the mission "ground assault" or whatever it's called. Is this unique to mine?
