a mission would not be a major release wink_o.gif and we would have released the trailer some days/weeks earlier.

This trailer itself just forced me to launch the mission editor to set up some battles.

Im going a bit off the line here, but is there any chance of a release of the lift? I know you guys said it was cancelled because of the dumbness of AI, but how about just a "not AI version". That would be great. No use just throwing it away. Pleasssse....

Don't be mad, but I think I'm even happier with this than I would be with the island or the mission. Very nice!!! I'm gonna DL this as soon as I can get home (which unfortunately will ne hours from now)

jesvs, a.k.a. KSK of the WCW-clan, made the base modell you can see on the pictures. This modell is far from being done, he is correcting a lot of minor bugs and finishing the interiors. Dimitry takes care of the textures, Raptor assists him. T.S.C. Plage attends to the realism of the Panzerhaubitze. raedor leads and coordinates this project and tries together with T_D, who scripted parts of InQUisiToRs M1A2 SEP, to include some nice scripted features.

Expect some more pics in near future!

Although it's still missing the large muzzlebreak at the end of the barrel (unless you want to do this with textures)

Very nice model indeed.

But about that second screenshot;

The detail is overkill. The bolt on the hinges of that hatch can bearly be seen and should be done with textures instead of poly's. No offense, but you should think about what is needed and what is not.

@vixer: right now it has between 7000 and 8000. but we're trying to reduce this.

@frostBite: this model is still a bit from completion. the muzzlebreak will be added (maybe we make one w/ and one w/o). don't worry about the details. wink_o.gif we know what is needed. we got this modell three days ago and we're working on it to make a mapfact quality addon out of it ;)

Hey mapfact guys, since you made that excellent XM8 some time ago, I thought you might be interested to see how the 'final' version of XM8 looks like:

Is there any slightest chance that you consider updating it with 'mapfact quality' textures? wink_o.gif

It also seems that the only diffrence between LMG and DMR version is the attached C-Mag. They share the same 20inch barrel (IIRC) and scope. I've just read article about.

I want to know under what name are new buildings from Mapfact in ofp.Like under what name is watchtower and aircraft hangar made by Mapfact.And i also want to know how to use barrack base with barrack.

you mean the names to createVehicle the objects? i don't think that there is a list of the new objects, but you can check the config file or put the object in the editor on the map and write<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">hint format ["%1", typeOf this]in the init line of the object.

we'll include a list in the next update.

no no! I meant like i you have a crate in ofp.It must be somewhere in the editor like empty-->mapfact-->crate.

And still need answer to that second question.
