colonel_klink 0 Posted January 21, 2004 FYI (for your information) CWK means Colonel Wilhelm Klink which also translates to "Comedian Werner Klemperer" (who played the beforementioned Klink in the TV series Hogan's Heroes") and FTWAI (for those who are interested)D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. translates to "Do I Look Like I Give A F...." UniverseMan 0 Posted January 21, 2004 CGN is also the prefix, as it were, for Cruiser, Guided (missile), Nuclear (powered), in the US Navy. So, CGN-36 would be the designation for the USS California, at least, I thought it was the California, which may or may not be decommissioned by now.
Vicente_cgn 2 Posted January 21, 2004 Wow - there's really a lot of stuff concerning all these user made Addons and Modifications! Now I see where some of these tags come from and have to admit that my initial question sounds a little bit stupid. I 've just found OFPNews and it looks like I should reinstall OFP (after finishing H&D2) and start playing a whole new game. Also I had a look at the new screenshot thread and there are a lot of pretty pictures in there where it's really difficult to believe that this is just the old OFP with usermods! Now all I'm looking for are good singleplayer missions (or even campaigns) with all those new islands, vehicles and modifications. Can someone give me a hint what's worth looking at and easy to install? Thanks, -Vic-
Skulleye 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Try the PMC campaign by Snake_Man (if I'm not wrong). It's over 100 missions and doesn't even need any addons. There's also another campaign using the BAS untis, but I have only gotten to the third mission in that, too difficult for me http://flashpoint.nekromantix.com/
norsu 180 Posted January 21, 2004 For a campaign that uses completely new units etc. go here: FDF mod .

edc 0 Posted January 22, 2004 High Dispersion. They make the weapons less accurate. While, they're good for simulating untrained militia, IMO they shouldn't be used for players, it turns it basically into a whoever's throwing the most lead in a general area wins when its player vs. player. Also, they could be High Definition(I think), as in Inq's HD Small Arms pack, which has maybe ten or so very detailed and beautiful guns in it, and is very good.
