Regarding ODSTs, as far as I know they're about like regular UNSC Marines, except they carry MA2B Assault Rifles(Cutdown MA5B with a scope I believe) and heavy packs. They also have different color uniforms I believe.

There's also Environment Suits which I kind of have a concept of. Forgot where I got it...

He didn't really give up, he just dropped the ofp thing and switched to battlefield 1942, and now I think he is on to battlefield vietnam.

Though the mod for BFV seems sucessful I think OFP would have been better since BFV only supports so few models a side and since most maps are only Spartans/Marines vs Elites. No Hunters, No Jackels....no...*sniff* grunts.

The whole realistic deal is stupid.

Let people build what they want to build. You could simply say OFP is not real because it's a videogame. I think placing things like Star Wars addons in OFP is real enough then.

Nevermind. I was seeing things.

Anyway, regarding realism, I always thought that Halo had one of the most realistic universes of anything Sci-Fi. Althogh the game was made as an FPS, you could make damage levels and such seem realistic.

Example:

A burst from an MA5B would be quite enough to take down grunts, jackals, and unarmored humans.

Nothing(Living) but a hunter could survive a shot from an S2AM. I don't care where your from or what your are, but a 14.5x114mm round makes big holes.
