Ranger Bob 0 Posted February 7, 2007 Sniper, awesome pics mate! Goob, I love the mood in those pics, cool stuff. Did you know the guy in the photo or did you just photograph him randomly? I always feel slightly nervous taking pictures of public places/people and hence rarely do it.
Supah 0 Posted February 7, 2007 Wow sniper you have been showing some VERY strong work recently! Looking forward to seeing more man
the_shadow 0 Posted February 7, 2007 just a question.... how many of you has edited and or cropped the pics before posting? :P
sniperuk02 0 Posted February 7, 2007 The only editing I do is brightness and contrast. I dont like the focus on this one as much. This one I desaturated abit just to see how it looked.
shrike 0 Posted February 8, 2007 Fantastic pictures everyone! Here's my humble contribution: Some pictures of the greatest bird on earth, the Andean Condor. Shot in Colca Canyon in south Peru, the 2nd deepest canyon in the world if I'm not mistaken. I know they're a bit blurry but it aint easy to get a sharp pic of a 60 km/h flyby at 7 in the morning Shot with EOS350D w/ Tamron 18-200 edit: I don't really like what Photobucket has done to my pics...any hints for better results? I'm a total newb when it comes to post-production
Messiah 2 Posted February 8, 2007 went out in the snow today to take some photos - unfortunatly my hands were freezing and snow kept getting on the lens, so these arent really that great Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5 Pic 6 Pic 7 and a cropped one i showed earlier, much better this time round i think: Cropped Pic
sniperuk02 0 Posted February 8, 2007 I really like the second one, but they are all good. We were ment to get snow but we got rain.

Supah 0 Posted February 9, 2007 Any tips on night time photos? I tried some earlier and they turned out blurry and noisey.example: [ig]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v672/SniperUK02/d3c5ba82.jpg[/img] Use manual focus and a high aperture level, don't trust autofocus! And 50% of my shots still arent perfectly focussed The last shot was shot at 30 seconds to get the 350D's noise reduction to kick in.
GoOB 0 Posted February 9, 2007 If possible try using a DOF-chart, not very practical but it usually yeilds fairly good results http://www.vividlight.com/articles/3513.htm
