Harnu 0 Posted November 24, 2004 Just a little fire I had going last night. Â Suprisingly this one burnt for a good three minutes. Â Not bad for such a small amount of materials Edit: I just isolated the flame in Photoshop, looks pretty neat, I'll have to see what I can do with it. Harnu 0 Posted November 25, 2004 Nope, not a cigarette. Not quite sure what it is actually. Probably just a rock with the right light on it. And I know smoking is bad for you, that's why I don't do it.

denoir 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Very nice pic Harnu. I took this one of the moon earlier today. Taken with a better camera, it could have been a far better picture (too high noise levels in low-light on my current one - [full rez]). And some other assorted pics taken a few days ago:
GoOB 0 Posted November 26, 2004 With what camera did you shoot the above photos with Denoir? (While still on the subject of cameras, can anyone recomend the Fujifilm FinePix S5000? It seems to be as a pretty good camera, for its price. With 10x optical zoom, and 3.0 megapixels for about 439€) As always, very nice pictures everyone! denoir 0 Posted November 26, 2004 With what camera did you shoot the above photos with Denoir? A 2 megapixel Olympus Camedia C-2 that is starting to show its age. It's an ok point-and-shoot camera, but I'll be looking for something better and more advanced soon. Quote[/b] ](While still on the subject of cameras, can anyone recomend the Fujifilm FinePix S5000? It seems to be as a pretty good camera, for its price. With 10x optical zoom, and 3.0 megapixels for about 439€) For a Swedish seller, check out cyberphoto, they have a good range, and various tests of the camers. In that price range, I suggest you take a look at the Minolta Z-3, the Olympus C-70 and the Panasonic FX7.

tkkivi 0 Posted November 27, 2004 First post.  A harebell that used to grow outside our house. She has been raped by snow now.  Our crazy ass dog. (She´s mixed breed) A month or two ago. Clothespins I don´t have any of those fancy sceneric shots but i guess clothespins do the job! I used the Canon powershot A85 4.1 MP Edit : Last two images were oversized... denoir 0 Posted November 27, 2004 I took a walk today in the Haga park here in Stockholm, to field test a new GPS unit that I bought. The track I walked (~6 km total): The Haga Slott castle "ruins". They're not actually real ruins as the construction of the castle was never finished. It was built in the late 18th century by king Gustav III, but the construction was halted after the king was killed. A view across to lake. You can see the museum of natural history in the background. The whole park was created in the late 18th century by Gustav III in an "artificial wilderness" style. Think Goethe and "The Sorrows of Young Werther", and you'll get the idea. Lots of various "dramatic" landscapes packed into a fairly small area. It's quite nice during the summer. In the winter it's mostly boring. My new GPS toy that I was testing: At the exit of the park: The lake is mostly frozen:
