Rgr, we know about the snow problem - see the ecp page for a fix.

The INQ config and ECP-compatible JAM are now available from the ecp page:

We will have a new release out this weekend. This new version totally revamps the mod with improved, well, everything ;) Keep those bug reports coming!

The download from ofpec is corrupt, tried it two times but the zip has crc errors. The one from toadlife works fine.

Edit: i mean the JAM package btw, not the inq...

i get no entry

@ecp/bins/config.bin.cfgworlds error

and wen i get in i get another error saying ""cfggameui error and the background is black and i cant see the mouse

What config are you using? Have you downloaded the most recent version?

@Acecombat: I have never noticed that before, I will check it out.

I'd like to see (AI-)view-blocking smoke grenades á la the ones i JAM.

And the AI actually using smoke grenades in some cases

The inqbin is not a bin but a config.cpp

try to delete the config.bin by hand

but make a backup my ofp knowledge is crazy_o.gif

It would make sense that Facile Ground also sufferes from this bug. Like LoJack, Facile Ground contains mountains of scripting - probably more scripting than LoJack.

The more scripts you have running and the more variables you have floating around, the more data needs to be saved in a savegame file. With ECP running, TONS of extra variables are introduced into the game, which also must be saved during a savegame. My original theory was that the savegame function is not properly saving all of the variables, because there are simply too many.  wow_o.gif

I think this is an OFP bug. Perhaps BIS can alter the savegame function so that it works with a larger amount of data reliably. *crosses fingers*

Yea, that's what I kinda figured. Bummer, as ECP truly turns this into a new game, and I'm just now getting a chance to look at some of the excellent user missions out there. It wouldn't be so bad, but ECP has spoiled me tounge_o.gif, and I can't play without it.

Coud it be possible to add to @ECP :

1. Realistic rates of fires for AK-47, AK-47CZ & AK-74 ? Can you change the default mag of :

- BIS "AK74" to modes[]={"Single","FullAuto"}; (AK-74, AKS-74U)

- BIS "AK47" to modes[]={"Single","Auto"}; (AK-47, VZ-58)

It would be great and would add more realism to ECP...

2. Can you add opticals sight for BIS choppers like those in DKMM MI-28 or RAH-66 (Default key in game : "V")

3. Can you add flares anti-missile scripts to BIS choppers ? Different script each time would be cool and more realistic.

4. Can you add script to all choppers (even addon) to see power of engine and the height in windows cockpit ? like the dkmm mi-28 (EAST) & RAH-66 (WEST).

5. Can you make some kind of JAM_missiles for more realism and for helping launcher, airplane, choppers, AA-tank add-on maker (Not making 10 time the same ammo with different tag & different parameter).

6. Can you add obsurcing IA view smokegrenade ?

Please tell us what project you have for @ECP !?|   biggrin_o.gif

all i have to say wow!

its like effects are dam crazy

looks like real war

smoke and all

found a bug on the black op model

every time you switch to handgun using the "y" short key u cant move and you cant change back to the original mp5aimpoint weapon

This is a known bug that happens when you play with a decryted config.bin file. Are you using the INQ version? If you are, download the recently encrypted .bin version from the ECP page (i just updated it so it will work with all units now).

The JAM download on the ECP page is not a new config. It is simply JAM slightly modified so that the units defined within it work with the ECP.

All good suggestions, but we are faced with alot to do and not much time to do it. The priority is getting the basic effects structure working (which will be finished by the next release on Thursday). Beyond that it will be a case of determining what needs to be implemented to fix various issues with the existing config. unclesam.gif
