Donnervogel 0 Posted October 14, 2003 Forgive my nit-picking... Ok it's a little AI issue with your Island. Nothing serious. On Tonal in the south-western part, south-west of Zinaba you have some sort of narrow piece of land trough that river/swamp/bay there. I wanted to make a mission there and noticed that it's pretty much impossible for the AI to reach that camp there from the outside. See here for a map. If you're going to update the Island it would be nice to make some paths for the AI to reach that camp on foot and in vehicles. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ruff 102 Posted October 14, 2003 bug:i heard of invisible walls they have been addressed but i dont know if a invisible wall that blocks bullets have been reported so im reporting it it happens in the jungle bit of the island where a small rebel base is ill send the map co ordinates once i get back home ive been playing in the area several times and is my favourite area, its an invisible wall that blocks bullets as if there was a building there or a invisible tree it could be due to one of the plant objects having a model shape that not have been cut to its proper model the map co ordinates where this happens is AJ31 its to the right of the base at the ouskirts of the base some of the plants or trees have an invisible wall that prevents bullets from shooting through wish i could give u a screen shot but i dont have a website hope this helps the patch Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
hoz 0 Posted October 14, 2003 One thing I noticed was one of the militia woman screamed like a man. All the other women i tested seemed to yell like a woman. Not sure if its by design or maybe it was a man in the white dress BAS_GMilitiaWG3 I beleive is the lady. I'll test to make sure i have the right woman when i get home. Nagual 0 Posted October 15, 2003 Ai has problems following waypoints through the jungle - makes ai patrols in that jungle island chain impossible (or having an ai group following their human leader). I will see if an invisble road through there helps, dont know if vehicles will like it but it might work for Inf. If it works the fix will be in the first update of the wrp. Fubar, Deadmeat or Eviscerator would have to answer you about that. Well, just for infantry would be fine enough - vehicles (but for tanks walzing their way through the jungle) wouldn't get through anyways. One particular point here I found this (not the only in that island chain, though) was around the huts in the center... ai units will not patrol around the ruins. I think Evis said that it's not on the list of priorities, but Ebud made a comment indicating he might do some more work on OPFOR. If there are no plans to do it, it would be cool if permission could be given for someone else to do a reskin (or maybe just to reapply original BIS textures) - don't get me wrong, I think they look great "as-is", but they look a tad out of place with other East armor in a CWC setting. Korvass 0 Posted October 15, 2003 I did read your post, but you dont seem to have read mine, i am talking about USING objects from the island, but modifying comes under the same rule.And I also was very specific that it only came down to things actually created by our team, which ebud seemed to miss, so obviously this doesnt include things we have used but not created (like the BIS models). And yes, using models on an island without permission, even without modifying, is a violation of copyright, doing anything with them apart from what we specifically allow you to do would be a violation of the copyright. And no Ruff, i have a relatively mid range PC, XP2000+ 512mb ram and a Geforce 4 MX. Hey Evis, I'm not bitching or sniping at you, but do BAS actually hold a real legal copyright on the addon? Platoon Ablaze 0 Posted October 15, 2003 Great work BAS, if not awsome, thinking of the work you've put into that project, and for FREE!. HD weapons, even with the first Campaign were fun and added "extra time" to play, but as usual release HD/JAM weapons and some will argue they would prefer no HD weapons and so on................ The islands were beautiful, landscapes, new bridges, houses and all others things that gave you feeling to be somewhere in Africa. The "bug" thread has good inputs, but looking in very detailed points like the color of the curtains (drapes), the wall you can go trough, don't make the islands less great, or funny to play on. To Nagual I can't wait a tutorial, for making missions "Å• la Nagual", with templates ready to use (scripts for CAS, intro with the picture and simple camera cutscene.......). To all if you want a totally bug free Tonal pack, just made your own, or be agree to buy it. Quote me like hell now ;) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Great island and OPFOR-pack, all bugs I encoutered were mentioned. I can only nitpick, for example that the BRDMs have no hud and that the gunner "hovers" (when you're cargo in one you see it), but as you have said they were mostly ment to act in the enemy role, so I'm fine with it, for now Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Clifford 0 Posted October 15, 2003 After having played mission 4 in the insurgency campaign three times now, I have to see if someone else suffers the same bug, namely: After having cleared the town of Ixtlan of all tangos, the third (and last) objective still won´t clear. Area one & two are marked as clear, but I´ve been running around like crazy trying to find tangos. They just aren´t any left, but still the mission won´t end. BTW, I have the patch (1.1) and 1.92, no other problems with my computer, no CTD´s, nothing. Just this never ending mission. Anyone else that is having this problem? Just press left shift key and minus key in the numeric key pad thingy simultaniously (spl ), release and type "endmission" without the quotes, there is another you can use to save your mission too . Claymore 0 Posted October 15, 2003 Everytime I complete the second mission (Close to Home) in the BAS-campaign after the debriefscreen the game kicks me back to desktop! I have the patched version of the campaign and using Flashpoint version 1.94BETA, My Pc is a PIV 2.4Ghz with 512megs of ram and a GeForce 3 card and using Windows98 SE .Someone knows what could be wrong?
