Lupus-WD- 0 Posted September 21, 2003 Yes you may ask, and i shall reply... athlon 2000+, gf4 ti 4200 64mb, 512mb ram, 1024mb fixed swapfile. nforce2 based motherboard, running with tweaked windows millenium. high detail terrain, 1200m view distance, 2xFSAA 2xAF, no wbuffer, HW T&L... I usually play in 1024x768 32bpp and i am shooting the videos in 640x480 32bpp (fps are lower than in actual game when shooting as they are limited to the video's framerate which i have set to 20 or 25) I am using the free version of fraps for screenshots, fps count and video capture. here's another one: another vietnam video

OmniMax 0 Posted January 20, 2004 I've got a video of me using my OICW script. It's 3.5 MB in zip format. Encoded in DivX, using .AVI format. grab it here http://omnimax.port5.com/imgs/OICW.zip Only seven AI civvies were harmed in the making of the video (as you will see by watching) Â Don't worry, they were all retired russian officers. OmniMax 0 Posted January 21, 2004 Thanks Placebo for showing me GSpot. Is there a recommended audio encoder out there? GSpot says audio takes up more then 70% of my videos file sizes. I bet VirtualDub encodes audio, I'm just too dumb to look.
seedhe 0 Posted January 21, 2004 From an intro to a mission that I never got around to finishing. Small ~ 1.4MB Large ~ 15MB I used FRAPS for the capture and winxp's movie maker for the editing.
Placebo 29 Posted January 21, 2004 I bet VirtualDub encodes audio, I'm just too dumb to look. It does and it's actually very simple (I was afraid at first thinking it would be really complicated)...... Open the movie file. Click video then "direct stream copy" (we're changing the audio here, no need to touch the video and this makes it quicker too) Click audio then click "full processing mode" Click adio then compression, it will list all your audio codecs along with the various quality settings you can choose, pick one of them. Click file then "save as avi" and save it, or if you want to listen to it first click "preview output from start"
