SmokeyPhalanx 0 Posted August 15, 2003 Obi Wahn @ Aug. 15 2003,03:37)] the only one I can ID in this pic is the FNC (second right)
DracoPaladore 0 Posted August 15, 2003 I'm pretty much intermediate, though I still have some problems. Like identifying a C7 with an M16 and a AK47 with a AK74 and things like that.
mr burns 132 Posted August 15, 2003 Obi Wahn @ Aug. 15 2003,03:37)]http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~bolle/web/bbg025.jpg the only one I can ID in this pic is the FNC (second right) I thought it is a SIG 550...now im confused. But i think the FN-FNC´s ButtStock looks slightly different to the one from Obi Wahn´s rifle, so i´m a little bit more confident again.
-TU--33ker 0 Posted August 15, 2003 I consider myself as intermediate. ;) from left to right: That model is unknown to me... but it looks like a shortened SIG, SIG 552 Commando, a kind of Shotgun, maybe a Mossberg, I'm not very interrested in shotguns , AKs 47 or AKMS, Sig 510, SIG 550, AK type. Mister Frag 0 Posted August 15, 2003 that would be a link from one of Mister Frag's post. he basically had hundreds of rifles and an indoor range! Â for me, I can identify some of famous handguns, and some rifles but that's it. so guess that makes me a novice. The pictures that Ralph is talking about have been removed from their original location. For those who missed them a few months ago, here they are again: http://www.misterfrag.com/gunroom.html
Jester983 0 Posted August 15, 2003 Hey mister frag ill trade ya my .22 for whatever your willing to trade I would say im a intermediate. I can identify most weapons at the drop of a hat and their round. I dont know the RPM though
Dauragon 0 Posted August 15, 2003 Hey mister frag ill trade ya my .22 for whatever your willing to trade it aint mr frag's room, as said on top of the page No, it's not my gun room, so don't ask.
Mister Frag 0 Posted August 15, 2003 Jester983 might have seen some pictures of stuff I do own in some old posts. In any event, I'm not gonna let go of any of my toys.
Jester983 0 Posted August 15, 2003 oh well. I tried. Anyone here good at identifying older weapons? Like civil war, WWI and II
Jinef 2 Posted August 15, 2003 I could identify most military style weaponry but as soon as it's in the civilian sector i have no idea. Intermediate
Badgerboy 0 Posted August 15, 2003 I'm qualified on the 9mm Browning, and I can recognise most firearms but I haven't shot many others. Intermediate.
USMC Sniper 0 Posted August 16, 2003 I consider myself an intermidiate, I can identify almost any weapon I'm shown. From left to right: 1st - sort of looks like a Skorpion SMG with a vertical forward grip, 2nd - SIG SG552 Commando, 3rd - Remington 870 Deer Magnum, 4th - AKMS/AK47S, 5th - I THINK it's an FG42, sort of looks like it, I'm not that greate with older, less known weapons, 6th - AR18/AR180 (most likely the AR18), 7th - a Kalashnikov, looks like an AKMS/AK47S with a black plastic foregrip and pistol grip. ;)
Major Fubar 0 Posted August 16, 2003 Actually, if I have a specialty, it is in ancient melee weapons:
-k44- Obi Wahn 0 Posted August 16, 2003 From left to right: 1st - I dunno if it's part of the Bizon, or if its a separate gun, hard to tell, 2nd - Bizon, 3rd - Remington 870 Deer Magnum, 4th - AKMS/AK47S, 5th - I THINK it's an FG42, sort of looks like it, I'm not that greate with older, less known weapons, 6th - AR18/AR180 (most likely the AR18), 7th - a Kalashnikov, looks like an AKMS/AK47S with a black plastic foregrip and pistol grip. Erm... Bizon?! Nonono, it's a SIG-clone in 9mm, second is SIG SG-552 Commando! Bizon...

USSoldier11B 0 Posted August 19, 2003 I pretty much consider myself an expert in foriegn and domestic infantry weapons as well as civilian ones. I think many people around here would back that claim. I'm also fairly knowledgable about aircraft and naval armaments.
Guest Posted August 19, 2003 Where's the "I dont know s**t" option :PThough I have seen the AK47 in OFP so I guess I'll vote for intermediate :P Yup..that's me too
Tovarish 0 Posted August 19, 2003 Well, I've held an Ak-47 in one or two occasions, but I'll go with amateur. Aircraft are another matter though
