hey goldmember can you also include the exhaust effect coming from the choppers exhaust valves found in ecp it really helps convay the physics involve when a chopper is in flight

Im lovin the new v.1.48, only problem i have with it is the new dynamic range sound of the m16's and ak's, other than those all the other sounds are great.

I loved the m16 sounds in the v.1.47 that are from Army Operations. but i like the new version 1.48 explo. plus some of the ECP added to it as well makes it great. other than that its great. Would be great if some how just to change those m16 sounds and ak's to the dynamic range res.v1.90 that went with your other versions (1.46, 1.47 ect.).

I dunno, maybe im wrong. I mean don't get me wrong, they are still great sounds.

t men you are in luck my friend i agree the m16 sounds suck from dynamic range that’s why goldmember has replace them with inq+blood+dr sound and weapons you have no idea what you are missing if you are not using that config it is better then you can imagine weapons skinned from real life along with the real sound ive fired many real m16 from being in the service and that is exactly how they sound download it and i will let that do the talking for me

Grrr... I still can't download version 1.48. I'm surprised Yahoo is so slow. Can't some kind soul with a bit of free webspace host Goldmember's stuff instead of him having to use that *coughBlackdogcough*?

check a couple pages back, Avon has mirrored 1.48 and Mr.Burns has put up a mirror for 1.48_ECP_DR.bin @blackdog~´s

And i could use some help here: I had my "old" Dynamic Range modified with some very good AK and M16 sounds ( courtesy of my mate Acidcrash who found those sounds god knows where ), i modified the pbo and was very happy with it,i want to do this in new DR,but its all in ogg files...so:

Anyone knows where i cant get a tool to change ogg to wss?

Cheers Bonko. I actually knew that already but forgot. It's been a long day...

Converting ogg to wss is not easy. The only way I've found to do it is to convert the ogg's to wav's and then the wav's to wss'. To convert ogg to wav you need a good sound editing program. I use something called Cool Edit Pro. There may be free tools available though as I haven't searched. Try Google for this, or maybe download.com. Bear in mind that the wav's should be in 16bit, mono at 44khz before you convert to wss as otherwise they have a tendency to sound weird in-game. To convert wav to wss you need this.

lovly. im gonna need that too. but unfortuntly the unreliable ofpec has once again proceeded to proved to be useless. the file is "corrupted" and does not allow me to open it. could someone who has a real website, with real files to download please give me a link to this DR wss reformat? thanks

Well, im having some problems, I tried the 1.48 with ecp and wiout ecp, both with new dynamic Range and the last GMR.pbo (3.005 KB) both without INQ, using the middle in both I receive this:

no entry `config.bin/cfgweapons ak47cz´

and when I try middle_messy 1.48 receive the same but:

no entry `messy_config.bin/cfgweapons ak47cz´ even renaming the messy_config.bin to just config.bin

A can´t see Blood addon working in any of this tests

Anyone can help?

well guys I was just tryng to run ECP the last versions 1.02 alone, without gmr, and I just got that same error message

no entry `config.bin/cfgweapons ak47cs´,

well it seems not to a GMR problem than just mine,  also tried to run version 1.94 without mods and i continue receiving it, I was not until I was using GMR 1.47 or ECP 1.02, It started after I updated the versions and  when I was making tests with each one.  anyway is there somebody who knows what that can be? any addon or something?

I receive the message but after click ok, I have no more problems and the ak47cz works just as usual on the editor, I also aplyed the tonal patch 2 but i don´t believe that there is any conection among that.

DYN Range and blood is not workin in any of GMR cases, in ECP both is workin ok

updated ECP, AND updated GMR mods in the same week? its heaven  

Note: this post was pointless, other then to hail goldmember as a god. and to remind everyone im still running ECP, and GMR together  

Edit: i figured out how i can make sure im running both.. when i shoot myself with the INQ weapon (that is set as default from GMRs mod), and see the bright orange flame from GMRs mod shortly before i enter ECPs spectator mode. i know then im running them both

Anyone can help?

This error sometimes arises when you store too many addons in one directory. Try to remove some and test again, besides it is not effects gameplay.

is there a simple blood to 1.48 Bin or is  the new ecp blood built in already ?

i tried to make my own(:EDIT: for 1.47 ) by copy n pasting bits from an old config.cpp into new one but it completely monged  my game out ( said summit like cannot load userGUI ) maybe i didn't make a bin correctly cos there aint much to add to config for blood support

Well, I made a clean up an my addons briefcase and that ak47cz still shows up, I think I´ll have to live with that, thnx anyway goldmember ;).

By the way, I still cannot see blood and dynamic Range working in any of the 1.48 config.bins (I´m sure i´m using the last GMR.pbo 3.005 KB and the last DynamicRange.pbo 34.xx KB)
