you can easily see that it's ofp. this mod is absolutely real and its absolutely great! I think some of the new animations were already used for screenshots by other mod makers.

Gotta watch what I say,but a few reasons:

The new animations,textures and the changes made, make it look fake,but what do I know

Maybe cause the sky is too blue,the land too flat,important OFP features missing (no commanders icons either)

Some of the pics look in OFP ,others don't.Maybe also the fact the faces resemble other games.

I see pictures of a tank they had ingame at 4/2002 ,maybe they have been working on the stuff this long.I will believe it when I see more I guess. Maybe by OFP3 we will see ?

Just hard to say at this point.Hopefully this came out because its nearing release? That would be great.I'm also curious as to why the hiding? And what other units are done from their unit lists?

If this comes out ,it appears to be best mod yet

Slamming me? The Corsair your talking? Well any more comments like that and I will hold all betas.Some like to try them out especially when they are the only ones.

Seeing how my addons will be beta till I stop playing OFP,I should wait and release them then?

Not only that my addon had innovations to help other modmakers and they needed the model to see.

Someone from Operation Pacific Mod shows pics of ingame tank over a year ago...Hows that? Obviously on the O2 beta team? Was it out then? If so I think in the few months I have been modeling I have given back to the community whether they are crappy betas or useless information.I help others.

These guys call their mod Operation Pacific Front.Nice catchy name . Big difference tho.I thought this topic was about mine.

The pics are for sure Battlefield 1942 , and I'm not sure about what game they are making mods for.The Zero pics do look like an imported Zero but the screenshots appear to be in O2 and in OFP.But whats with the 2002 screenshot date?

I don't expect to see any mods released from this group.

I see no evidence that the mods were made by them.

ON the team list however the Desertfox nick sounds famailiar.

So far i haven't seen anything that strictly couldn't be done in OFP. So it looks pretty real to me. With that said, i do think the sky is a little too blue for my own taste

Sky- Looks like a Flashpointish sky to me. Although the sky texture may just be a test.

Land to flat- Maybe the place its based off of is flat. Maybe your just looking at flat section while the rest is covered by the viewdistance fog. Maybe its just something so you don't have to show your 50% completed island when you don't want to.

Commanders Icons- Who says he's playing the commander? I don't like playing the commander. Maybe he's playing a single unit without a commander. You notice, only one screen has anything on it, so maybe he doesn't want the screen cluttered up with icons and menus.

What the hell is your problem? He gives someone who helps him credit and you sh*t on him about that?? Bratz has only been mildy skeptical about this Pacific front mod. He even said many good things about the mod. So why are you and MLF busting his nuts? Chill out and quit trying to piss people off. Myself I have no idea whether this mod is real or fake, but I do know that if it's real, it's going to lag like no tomorrow. Unless you have a super high-end PC, missions will likely be limited to squad vs. squad combat.

Personally I wish someone would just release a normal looking lower-res WWII Japanese soldier pack and a WWII U.S. Marine pack (so that missions makers like myself could create very large and realistic battles with U.S. forces. For some of us the latest and greatest graphics is not what matters most. I'm more then happy to stick with original BIS type textures in exchange for good framerates as long as the models and animations are good. The BAS units for example look excellent and play very nicely on most computers. Inquisitor's High-Res weapons pack however lags like hell when you add alot of units equipped with those weapons.

I'm using a 1.8ghz AMD CPU with 512Megs of RAM and a 32Meg TNT2 video card. It's not high end, but it's not too terribly shabby either.

So anyways, I just think this new mod looks interesting. But I'll reserve final judgement once its actually out and I get to test drive it by making some missions with it.

Otherwise it's just pretty eye candy.

That surely looks like an OFP ingame screen as it has the ofp "get out" useraction showing and that does look like OFP muzzleflash.But where is the aiming dot? I don't think you can remove that.

The Zero is real nice and I would like that vehicle.But the Zero is sporting a shadow on the 2 outside pics but none within the hangar (shouldnt there be one there also?)

Also the Zero pic of it in O2...wheres the gunflash,prop blur and driver proxy? huh huh huh

Went through all that work to get a shadow, inserting flashes and proxies would be no problem.

Something fishy going on, where are the makers and any comments?

Yes i did get it wrong baout the PR, but you accused them of taking Battlefield Textures and so on.
