Johann "onn" Bitsoenn 0 Posted November 20, 2003 I wonder why BD knows that if the project hasnt even started he does have a nice pic though He must be then either a good photographic-tricks master, or rather something like Q entity, a being out of time and space that has powers beyond human imaginations. :]
Johann "onn" Bitsoenn 0 Posted November 30, 2003 For those of you who were not able to get that information on the RHS board: 29th november 2003 the last UAZ-469 has left the production line of Ulyanovsky Avtomobilny Zavod. The car which took it's part in writing whole lot of history pages, now becomes a history itself. It will now join soviet automobile heaven somewhere far far away in the sky, Preserve it's memory, comrades!

Consigliere 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Ah well...It doesn't really mean much, that production was ceased.Sure it's a date to go in history books, but just cos they're not produced by UAZ anymore, I'm sure that doesn't mean they're just gonna start disappearing... blackdog~ 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Wait, isn't there still a Civillian model which looks almost exactly like the military model?
Consigliere 0 Posted December 1, 2003 There are lots of UAZ models which look like the military one.
EiZei 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Its not the price of the UAZ that will empty your wallet, its gas consumption. (unless you are going to take that baby to middle east )
GoOB 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Its not the price of the UAZ that will empty your wallet, its gas consumption. (unless you are going to take that baby to middle east ) And also the damn pollution laws! In Sweden you can't import UAZ's or Trabants because of our pollution laws wich came into effect sometime in the eighties.

Johann "onn" Bitsoenn 0 Posted December 1, 2003 Wait, isn't there still a Civillian model which looks almost exactly like the military model? Yeah there is a civilian version... There is also a civilian version of hummer. Both are nice carz, both are more expensive because of "civilian" stuff mounted inside (luxuries), and... Both lack of climate :]

Johann "onn" Bitsoenn 0 Posted December 2, 2003 you know, there's an edit button for PRECISELY that reason.the_unknown_one Some people prefer not to have "Edited" note under their posts because they dont want past posts to be possibly unclear (like person A says something, another person B calls it a lie, A edits a post to correct it and in the new post bitches B for laying :P). It is just some kind of behaviour of being 100% true and having nothing to hide, and you may ecounter that behaviour (no-edits) in many many boards. But I admit that sometimes that behaviour is quite weird when let's say one guy posts 5 times because each time he made some spelling mistake :P
