it wasn't a joke. I am serious. And Deadmeat's addon team released something unlike yours. You said the T-55 pack would be out soon over a year ago. Until now NOTHING is out. Yes I know why it isn't. Still. You're not in the same position as BAS is. BAS is a top quality addon team. They've proven it. You didn't (I have no doubt you will).

Still the only thing you archieved so far is to tease us with screenshots. So don't wonder why you got such a reputation.

Well donervagel kinda hit the nail on the forehead this time , its been a long time now i think since we've been hearing of thse T-55's and nothings released so far. Deadmeat's policy of delaying was pretty much on the spot but the thing is those guys do their work quickly and release it Asap just thinking of the number of their projects makes me dizzy as to how they managed to release so many addons in such a short period of time so their policy of delaying IF people whine too much is pretty much justified.

This is in no offense to your hard work though , i havent seen it yet so cant say anything , it might be better then BAS but it sure is taking its 'TIME' .....

I wouldn´t be so hard with RHS cause i think nowadays we (the community) can be very glad that there are addonteams like them and from the screenis all looks excellent.

I am glad. And I am a huge fan of their work. But I thought a clear straight statement was needed. It's what I think. Nevertheless I appreciate their work.

I think sometimes some of theirs memebers don't see the reality. They put themself on the same level with BAS. But fact is. they're not on any level yet. They haven't proven their quality yet.

But as I said I'm sure they will.

The message is: You're not BAS. You promised something but you failed to stay true to it. You're not obliged to to that of course. But it will affect your reputation in some parts of the community.

well it's true we have been waiting for these t55 for a long time but i think RHS will release somthing never seen in ofp before +the tank crews donated by suchey and earl will fit in nicely with those and knowing the community is very demanding i mean (the perfect addon without bugs and stuff)

would make any addon maker think twice before releasing something that looks very nice on screens and then be flooded with demands and bug reports that are not always said in a diplomatic way the only thing i would say is to be patient because i have that feeling that we will be very pleased with what will sit on our hard drives.

anyways seeing what it looks like it will be great.

so to the RHS team looking forward to the release and keep up the good work

Guys, cut the RHS team some slack...

From the last beta I had (which was god knows how long ago) the T-55's kick ass. And I've been told they've implemented a whole lot more since the version I've got.

As allways, I/we (the addon makers) can't stress enough that these things take TIME, and a whole lot of it to get right, as bug free as possible, and as easy and ready to use as possible.

And as the Heiniken ad goes "Good things come to those who wait"

And trust me, these ARE good things!

Yep Deadmeat I know. I sometimes do addons myself. I know how time consuming it is with simple addons and I can imagine how it is with so many things. I know it will kick-ass. But it's more a attitude problem I have.

This t-55 dealy just isn't anything RHS can be proud of. It's was an unlucky move. It can happen to every mod team. That's not the problem. The problem is the attitude I sometimes get when I express that it's about time to finnish something instead of starting yet another project. And I can't let the time argument stand alone when I see that they spread their efforts on more and more projects and subprojects.

Yes, this was a critic. A sovereign mod team should be able to handle a critic.

I ve been following this addon for ages now and for me it s on the number 1 spot of my most wanted ones.

I can understand alot of ppl getting impatient for it ... so am i.

I m pretty sure it ll be top quality !

I mean, sigma's tankpacks are still THE best out there ( also AKM's APC pack, but those arent MBT's ) so if the new tankpacks are improved from sigma's it can only be great !

That is indeed true, its been a long wait for all of us, and if you look at it with hindsight, it should never have been.

But, these guys are "new" to the realms of addon making, and we can put the few "mistakes" down to lack of experience. We [bAS] had the same thing, too many projects, too little time.

The RHS team truly are an excellent team, and I'm sure that once they've got this little hurdle out of the way they will be on a roll producing some of the best addons out there. Also, the RHS team have taken on a massive task, which they are succeding at, slowly but surely. They have a good, strong team, and are full of energy and potential. Having seen some of their work, I expect nothing but good things from these guys, they have the potential, they just need to focus it.

Hopefully the T-55's will be the ideal learning tool for them, and they will gain the experience, management and self-control skills that it takes for the team to work together as one, and productively. Focusing on one project at a time is truly soul destroying, fixing bug after bug, right down to the smallest details is mentally tiring, and boreing after a while. Whislt having other projects to work on, as well as real life things become slowed. I will agree that the guys do seem to have bitten off a wee bit more than they could normally chew, but, and thats a big but, as a team they are very capable of completing all their current projects (as long as they dont start too many new ones ) and finishing them to a high standard. Afterall, you wouldn't accept them if they were of low quality, would you?

At any rate, all it takes is time, we've got a good one and a half years before OFP2, so there is plenty of time for more addons to be made.

I'm looking more forward to it than to any BAS addons. Since I'm a russian stuff fan. I praised them much in the past. This time I narowed it down to almost only the criticism. Wow man taket more easy the RHS needs time since this is the first addon the'r making!!!I'm a big fan of east armor!!And I'm to waiting for this relase.Sure they could relase unfinshed addon and what fun would you have from it! Remember if you want something good you should be more patient!!!
