da_ofp_man 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Where did the pics of those destroyed T-64s come from? I didn't think that they'd ever seen combat. Chechnya? but they were used  combat in Chechnyea and moust Afghaistan:p btw:sine you guys from RHS are making vehicles T-55-64 era I have a littel request cuold you make  IT-1 DRAKON tank killer because its a cool vehicle and such class never seen in ofp and its based on T-55 chassis it wont be much work just a new turret   or could I expect it in near future            sorr for bad english
InsaneDruid 0 Posted January 4, 2004 And again, it´s me with a question regarding the T55. On which side the gunner is sitting? If i sit in the T55, looking around me, I sit on the left side (I can see the right hatch and behind me the left hatch). But if I turn out as a commander (I can´t turn out as a gunner? Why? On the T64 its working), Im sitting ALSO on the left side of the turret. So my questions are: why can´t the T55 gunner turn out (is looks "cool" driving around with all man turned out and why turns the commander out on the side the gunner seems to be sitting (when looking from inside)? Shadow NX 1 Posted January 4, 2004 The answer i get usually was "they never turn out" well its a turret that doesnt leave much space for the crew, thats also a reason why it reloads so slow, but i guess our guys with better tank knowlege can clear it up better

It's easy because in t-54-55 gunner is sitinng under the tank commander look and you can not turn him out But in t-64 evrything is normal as in todays tanks gunner is sitting on the left side of commander. Shadow NX 1 Posted January 4, 2004 Ah yes forgot that, so the guy who would turn out would be the loader we dont have in OFP...
hellfish6 7 Posted January 4, 2004 Would RHS be at all interested in making non-Russian equipment? The Chinese have some interesting AFVs that might be worthy of OFP-ization.
Acecombat 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Would RHS be at all interested in making non-Russian equipment? The Chinese have some interesting AFVs that might be worthy of OFP-ization. Â Yes but who would they compliment? I dont see any chinese soldier addons or jets or anything , but i think it would be very very nice if chinese stuff is made i am sick of the constant america vs russia missions , china would be interesting .... InsaneDruid 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Thank you.. Didn´t know that. Now its clear to me.
hellfish6 7 Posted January 4, 2004 There are lots of Chinese soldier addons out there, for both ROC and PLA. There's even a Chinese island. The one thing that they're missing is good Chinese vehicles. We've got Sigma's older Type-98 and now the Type-59 and -69 tanks, but there's a lot more that could be made, like the Type-62, -63, and -99 light tanks and all the WZ-series IFVs and APCs. They've also got a new tank destroyer armed with a 120mm gun.
Acecombat 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Do you have links for that stuff Hellfsih , ive always wanted chinese soldiers
soul_assassin 1750 Posted January 4, 2004 The only instance a foreign vehicle would be done by RHS is if that vehicle is actually originaly soviet. AS in the T55s we were working on the T55 and since china also uses it we decided to include a Type 59 and then a Type69II. But currently we are thinking about narrowing our export theme to primarily soviet and iraqi.
hellfish6 7 Posted January 4, 2004 Poop. Â Edit: Ace, they were from the Taiwan Workshop: This is the site, but it's down right now. Might be permanantly closed.
Acecombat 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Arghh but arent the addons mirrored by someone? I'll search ofp.cz maybe they have them or not?
hellfish6 7 Posted January 4, 2004 Edit: Search OFP.cz for "Taiwan" and you should find everything.
Gollum1 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Personally, I'm not all that interested in Chinese units. Mainly because I can't pit them against FDF troops or massacre EDG Guerrillas with them...mmm... Just keep on making that great Russian stuff!

Yeh cool but are you going to do in near future IT-1 Drakon this is such class vehicle that are missing in this game and it would be cool to see it in ofp
Shadow NX 1 Posted January 4, 2004 Possibly, but atm i rather would like to see the do list gets less longer. Besides the IT-1 was build in very low numbers and not a too succesfull tank, all of them were later changed to ARVs. And its based on T-62 not T-55 if we make t-62s it may be an option
hellfish6 7 Posted January 5, 2004 I would humbly request that RHS go full-press on a Russian/Soviet Naval Infantry theme. Like make an Aist or Lebed-class hovercraft (with cargo scripts), a KA-29, maybe a static Alligator-class LST. Maybe the various BTRs with Naval Infantry markings. You all probably think I'm crazy, don't you?
lee_h._oswald 0 Posted January 5, 2004 Lebed-class hovercraft (with cargo scripts) THIS would be very cool! http://www.hovercraft.ru/katalog/kalmar.html MfG Lee
tankieboy 0 Posted January 5, 2004 IMHO a hovercraft is the next stone to be turned over for an OFP addon.
edc 0 Posted January 5, 2004 There was a Russian hovercraft released a while back(though I'd still love to see RHS make one). It doesn't travel on land, but its still not bad. Â A T-62 would be really neat too. Here's the link to the hovercraft. http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=3837

Vladimir in RHS now, besides this was a basic model... the modellers would probably remodel it. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>PS: Buy Russian headgear here ;)</span>
