Although I don't play paintball myself, the Angel is one of the most highly regarded guns in paintball... I learned this by peeking at the magazines people bring to school that sit next to me. The pic Blackdog is showing is actually the first model of Angel that was released.  To be more exactly it s the first "Dark Angel" that came out. ( i know, i had one same color ) Since then alot has changed and angel had a few more types. Angel LCD, Angel IR3 and now just new Angel Speed ( costs around 1.300 - 1.500 € ) But .... me no like Angel, i had two and cant seem to get used to them ( balance is not right for me ) I now still shoot my old and trusty Shocker Y2K for which i just bought a new Freak barrel set on the Millennium in Amsterdam two weeks ago  Shocker and cocker are much more accurate then Angel, Angel is just fast in shooting but comparing to cocker or shocker very inaccurate. If you put a turbo board on a shocker its nearly as fast as an Angel ( well,not as the Angel Speed ). Cocker can be nearly as fast if you take an Ecocker.  Thats a 45 grip and transforms it to an electronic marker. It s really fast ! but costs around 600€ to place  Since i m a back/middle player i have much more advantage from accuracy then from how many balls my gun shoots per second.  ( i do still have my Silver limited Angel as backupgun though ) Sry to go a little oftopic, i ll post some pics to compensate tonight when i get home.
