Why do the russians have m2 machine guns?

We've been asking for a DsHK or NSV or equivalent for ages, but nothing. Yet BIS makes a bicycle and an Autin Mini, stuff that we'll never use.

I think BIS should start distributing the good (as in pro-quality) user-made addons as part of future patches. Valve does something similar with Counterstrike, using community-made maps. I'm sure lots of authors would like to have their add-ons officially distributed even if they're not paid for it, and we would get to actually use them in our missions without requiring people to download them from seperate, sometimes hard to find sources.

There's quite alot of things BIS could do to enlarge the community without adding new code necessarily. But I guess it's up to Codmasters and whether they would support such initiatives.

Stuff you might not use, but I will. You see in winder I can't really enjoy nice bike rides so I will create a cardio bike mission in OFP.

Valve integrates a few maps in their updates.  As in, maybe two or three maps, if you're lucky.  And they are generally made by the Valve/CS team.  They don't introduce any new models like whats suggested here.

And that is once a year or two that patches for CS are released.  God I hate that!  We love you BIS! Keep those updates coming

But I agree, they need to model and create new things for OFP.  I mean, why haven't there been any official Air to Air missles   The MG's I don't really care about, an MG is an MG.  If you're asking for an equivelent, all it's going to be is a re-skin.

Agreed.

BIS have their priorities messed up. Only one military vehicle addon for Resistance(a buggy V-80 and a bunch of sniper pistols that sound like Super Soakers)?

I hope the Nam Pack creators consider releasing a standalone version of the DShK (without sandbags) as an East equivalent to the M2...but still, and official version from BIS would be much appreciated!

I see I am not the only one to have noticed this, then. I was rather impressed by the MP5's sound (it's not very far off from the real thing, being a click rather than a high pitched whiney ping-type sound), but these other, new suppressed weapons do indeed sound like some sort of fake laser from a cheap "science" fiction movie.

Yet an mp5 didnt come with resistance hmmmmm. Besides I use the mini all the time, best car ever. However it would be better if it was red with a Union Jack on top
