A guy was kind enough to take photos at our last skirmish. Here is the link.

7-20-03 Battle

As you can see we have a wide range of players, from 13 to 40.

Those stores always have some kind of helmets. the last store I was in, had an old tanker helmet for sale. it was very light and not bulky. good stuff for airsoft, isn't it?

it was like on this picture:

you could even get a German flack jacket there! biggrin_o.gif

Just had an airsoft match at The Kill House. I killed about 9 or 10 people, but since it was night, I designated targets w/ my AN/PEQ look alike.

Its only an overflow parking lot w/ a house in it, and BBs literally cover the ground. I had fun hiding the in fridge biggrin_o.gif . Ok so none of it actually worked but it was really fun. Too bad my M4 is broken now sad_o.gif , broke the body bad.

So I "borrowed" an MP5K from a dead team member. Then I sprang out from cover and killed 3 guys firing one handed biggrin_o.gif .

Cool, huh? rock.gif

I thought it was your battery that actually died?

Anyways, i was there also with grey fox. And we were splint into teams. The way they split us up was Owners vs Rentals.

Can you guess who won? crazy_o.gif

the kill house is a pretty kool place and is also the training facility of the pomona PD.

All in all it was quite fun.

I am thinking of buying a TMG36c this fall. Anyone had any experience with it?

All I know is I like my AUG a lot. All I ever get to do out here is skirmish with some paintballers I know, but it's still pretty fun.

I've heard good things about the AUG as well, but I just dont like how it looks smile_o.gif

I am also looking at an AK or an M4. But it will depend on what I can afford.

I'd definetly reccomend the M4 or M4 RIS. I have mine tricked out with a m100 spring, tightbore barrel, a laser, and a 3-9x42 scope. Sounds great huh smile_o.gif

The only real problem w/ some guns is that they use the "mini" batteries. In other words, the battery cap is usually about 600 mAh, which for trigger happy people, won't last long. So its hard to be me, the squad automatic.

I would reccomend the AK-47 (Okay, maybe I am a little biased). It has a solid stock so it can fit a large battery. It also has a longer barrel meaning better accuracy. And it is usally cheaper if not same price as a M-4. Plus, you can convert it into one of these puppies:

Or make it modern:

Or go for the sniper:

special Helmets surplus store

US military PASGT style helmet made out of heavy duty ABS plastic for 29.95 US$ in adult sizes

looks quite realistic

for the roastbeeves , UK surplus store proposing plastic US Military style helmets

these helmets are apparently called "parade helmets"

these helmets look like most of the other armies helmets , so with the good cover , it could look quite good

I had..

it shoots quite straight and its quite accurate.. even due to its shorter barrel.

Good overal gun imo.

Alternativly, I could get the M60 DX. I dunno but I'm a fan of being the squad automatic. I like the fact that everyone is shooting at me. wink_o.gif
