Sure in towns and villages its expected and fits the theme/atmosphere but ones sitting in the middle of a highway between two towns looks a little odd. They do make for some hilarious AI driving moments, I'll give it that. I wonder how much of an impact all these opened buildings will have on performance? Not that I mind haha but you are in a sense doubling the poly count (plus some with furniture) for each building correct? In my experience it's AI firefights that slowed things down in A3 not graphics load but I'm interested to see this play out. most of the interiors are less then 500-1000 polys and the proxies are also relatively simple, you will not have lag issues because of the map ever is my goal normally you have lag because of too many objects, but i proxy in 100% of the extra stuff into the building model i do not have this problem, so far only about 100k extra objects have been added, that is literally nothing for the amount of new things ive added, and half of that are trees 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

crazy mike 567 Posted June 6, 2018 Finished Veresnik new stary bit unrelated to the map development but i thought this would make an amazing screenshot, at NEAF there was a guy trapped inside ATC by 2 guys outside, the guy trapped is talking to them distracting them while his buddy is closing in to help out, this guy in the screenshot along with his friend are watching from afar with binoculars, and even beyond them a fourth party is watching them from higher up the hill watching the whole thing go down, happening right now on my server XD 9 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

crazy mike 567 Posted July 1, 2018 Overhaul to the HDR settings on the map, aswell as lots of lighting tweaks to compensate for the new (old) tonemapping method, the changes are not entirely noticable at distance because of how refined my lighting config is to get this type of look, but now close range to objects you really notice the difference with the light, the entire config was actually rebuild from scratch and no longer inherits from CAWorld aswell Needs work but this is probably as close to 2015 A3 / A2 as youll get in terms of lighting ect 12 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

uscg pilot 12 37 Posted July 13, 2018 first off ill start with some praise i love this map its probably one of my all time favorites from throughout the years the overall feel the sky box everything unfortunate i have a little issue i am having and was wondering if anybody else has experienced this issue chernus 2035 is probably one of my favorite maps and unfortunately just recently when i load it up im getting an erro that some files are missing and now some of the gas stations are gone and the sheds dotted around the map are grey. i get a message on game start up the cup data requries cup data 2 or something similar but i have unsubbed and resubbed all the cup mods a couple of times and the map itself nothing works Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
