neofit 65 Posted July 25, 2016 Also, there may have been a small glitch at the beginning. When I first spawned there were 3 or 4 military-type survivors in visual range. They were not aggro and did not move. I thought they may have been potential teammates (I played SP and spawned alone), but I have no option to do anything with them (except loot them when bandits shot them). Ie altis sw so I know which one to try. Technically I did, in a way ;) : "...for Tanoa. I started on the NW island, got the first dinghy, and drove it straight to the "You won!" marker to the SE...". So Tanoa SE. It happens repeatedly. Start the mission. There will be a Mr "Helicopter Pilot" visible on the beach on your left side (to the west). You run up to him and he doesn't shoot at you, so I presume he is a friendly, a potential recruit maybe. But I roll and roll my mousewheel up and down, yet no menu pops up, and I do not see any other way to enlist him. There is another one like this unresponsive friendly on the pier by the village to the east, and 2 more inside. (by the time I find a handgun, so an option to switch becomes available and menu becomes operational, it is too late, all of them have been shot by bandits). This happens every time I start this Tanoa SE mission. (RHS AFRF+USAF) Also, after the playthrough, the debriefing told me that I had shot 3 friendly units. At first I was trying to get close to the NPCs I saw in case they weren't enemies, but the reloading got old fast, and I started presuming everyone was hostile. Is there a way to figure out whether one is a bandit or a non-aggro survivor, besides getting shot at? I think I remember some of them had blufor/nato weapons while others had csat/redfor, but iirc I saw more than 3 M4s on corpses. cosmic10r 2331 Posted July 25, 2016 That's the issue. It's seeing the playable units and spawning them in. They don't show up if you play in mp and host your own session. I will update the sp version this week and add the radio menu back in for the sepia... but only for sp version To note as well: when playing in SP with the mp version the sites may not show up as they require parameter definitions from mp version Most of those issues should go away if you use the mission hosted locally. Maybe, but playing alone a mission where I cannot pause nor reload is a huge waste of time, I am not playing those. And apparently they will be all-sepia all the time too, so lose-lose. If you are playing on sp then you can recruit as many guys as you want and sites will work and you can save...Honestly it's why I did two versions so that the sp stuff can work for sp gamers of which I was one up until about a year ago... I've played literally thousands of hours of Domination and Evolution since Arma 1. But smaller coop scenarios with one goal (like the Apex pseudo-campaign) are not really JIP affairs, and I am not blessed with friends or co-workers who want and can play whenever I do. Anyway, since you only updated the scenarios in the first link, the [coop] ones, I presumed that they were also SP-capable. Wishful thinking I guess. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't know if this is intended : i tried this mission for 20 minutes at most but when i die at the beggining, when i have no map yet, i'm respawning a few seconds later WITH a map, which makes immediatly things easier for the team...After this, every time i die, i still have a map (even if i'm respawning whith shitty weapons like the alarm pistol, which doesn't seeems to be able to kill anyone even at 2 meters !) I just found respawn tent backpacks... basically completely fills the need... even better there are gameplay consequences for using them such as when they are deployed you lose the backpack... but you can reassemble and disassemble the tent to move it around. will look at adding it to the map or loot list! 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Overall, liked it very much, but would like a little less machine guns and marksman rifles, but more pistols and submachine guns? As well as increase the radius of spawn of units AI, as we regularly encounter a situation where an enemy gang will spawn literally 50 metres in front of the nose. To reduce the number of opponents in the cities because the scale of the massacre and the number of people beyond the edge of the Post-Apocalypse, and recalls the carnage of the Warhammer 40000 :lol: There is also a sentence about the weather - it somehow possible to change slightly? The breaks between the rain to increase on 20 minutes, but more gloomy sky with rain clouds, lightnings and strong wind with big waves on water. I would also like to clearly distinguish between friendly and hostile people - civilians without military equipment, without masks and so on, more civilian equipment, and the raiders - more militarized. Thanks! P.S. You can integrate in your mission optional module - exploding heads from this is addon head-gore-mod and splatering blood form blood lust mod? I have been playing "Ravage" in various forms for about a year now. I recently used "The Escape" mission from Tanoa based on the Ravage framework and made a video game movie documenting the process. I wanted to share it with Haleks and anyone who is interested in it. I'm new to gaming videos, have only been doing this since December of last year. This is my first full length gaming film. I really hope you guys like it. I gave Haleks full credit for the mod in the description, as well as the guys who did "the Escape" mission. Turbo_Latte 0 Posted August 19, 2016 Hello. I am also new to the forums here. I saw the video about this on youtube then downloaded all mission PBOs, SP and MP. With the dependency mods/ravage, etc I was able to get the MP maps I tried out to work just fine - I think it was SE or NE Altis MP, and Tanoa MP. With the same mods loaded, I can't get the SP mission to work. I put it into the missions folder, it shows up in the launcher, but when I run it it looks like it's going to load right up to the end then hangs at the loading in screen with both the top green bar and the little green bar all the way to the right (as if fully loaded in)., Any ideas? It took MUCH MUCH longer for the SP to load than what I had observed for the MP mission load times so I just didn't give it a chance to finish.
