interesting difference in fire rate for the MA5s

SMG is also useless now with the higher recoil and low damage

Folded SMG sights are also completely buggered

AN/PRC-521 is off centered

I agree with space on that belt. Doesn't fit the weapons look like caliber in my opinion

I don't know if its just me but the falcon is quite fragile, it gets damaged easily. Maybe I'm too used to the Pelican. And talking about the pelican, the pelican gunship gunners have really bad aiming, they always miss.

In reach the Falcon was very fragile, it wasn't designed for super heavy fighting. more for stealthier, tactical insertions/ extractions. It was meant as a cheaper answer to where sending in a Pelican was to expensive or to noisy. So the Armor is super light.

I see what you did with the Transport Falcon. sense there is no door gunners, you gave it extra seats. Smart

Have you guys tested the pierce through of the Gauss cannon,

1 shots 5 (Only had the tanks in lines of 5) of the AAF tanks in one shot,

2-3 Shots 5 T-100s in a line of 5.

and can 2-3 shot 2 the Up armored Slammer. Round doesn't reach the 3.

Such a epic cannon. I should line up 20 AAF tanks and see how many i can pierce

Is it ALiVE compatible already?

If not, do you guys plan to make it compatible again?

the ammo belt is a glitch that will be fixed as soon as the belt is animated. ar shadow bug will be fixed as well. everything else has been noted of course in our bug tracker.

as far as alive goes, we will see what it takes to make it compatible, but it is planned.

i will say whoever said the falcon was weak earlier i 100% agree, they are too weak, even a pawnee lasted longer in the same spot

I remember the Pelican had similar issues with it's first launch with TEI. Something about the fuel tanks giving out if you flicked a paperclip at it.

Although I like the gun on this Falcon, I remember the early version of it in TEI was pretty weak. This feels beefy.

Is there any thought of adding burst fire to the falcon's gun as a option?

Seems a tad pointless in my opinion, since you can just burst fire on auto. The damage model is my biggest issue with it atm.

But that's up to the dev team on what they see appropriate.

I remember the Pelican had similar issues with it's first launch with TEI. Something about the fuel tanks giving out if you flicked a paperclip at it.

IIRC the old one was like 6.5mm and this one is 20-30mm? Yeah, the upgrade feels nice :P

it may seem like it, but when the pilot can finally move the gun and Aim. Burst fire would be a helpful fire mode

you people have to do something about these ballistics. The MA5's have different fire rates, M6's slide is in the reload animation broken, same as the MA5-GL. The MA5's, the BR55 and the M73 are weaker than the 7.62 vanilla weapons. The m6 is weaker than vanilla 9mm pistols. I wrote about it on reddit. Hope youll fix it soon. :)

Well because the Falcon in Halo Reach used burst fire, I think it would add a layer of authenticity. Kinda like how the BR is in burst. I mean you can essentially burst fire it yourself, but having it set to burst is what makes the BR the BR. And for the articulated canon, can't the same code from the Scorpion be applied to the Falcon for that feature? Just a thought.

And yeah, the new cannon is 30mm. I leveled a village with it earlier today, it was freaking awesome. There's a bug with the sound currently, but it's not really a huge issue. Just happy to see the Falcon and SRS99 in-game.

Oh and as far as weapon mechanics and balance goes, pretty sure the dev team is aware of the issues.
