Wiki 1558 Posted September 12, 2016 police also stopped someone with suspected truck in front of Notre Damme cathedral, police said about truck full of explosive gas - yet was not said if it was bomb attempt Yup, it was. 4 women.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted September 12, 2016 Yes. It wasn't in front of Notre Dame, but in a street not far from it. There was 6 gas cylinders together with some cans of petrol, in the trunk of a car, but it seems that nobody tried to detonate them. The arrested girls were connected to a well known French IS jihadist, Rachid Kassim. One of the girl tried to get married with two terrorists, one who killed a French police officer and his wife, and the other who killed the priest. Both terrorists were shot. Rachid Kassim is known for using the telegram app, which is known to be crypted, and to be the "brain" of this summer attacks in France. On a more personal note, i must say that nobody around me gives a shit about this terror threat, we're going out in the wonderful city of Paris as usual, to the restaurants, bars and concerts, living our everyday life with no fear. The weather is wonderful, and the people here are very resilient. Trump and his "France is not France anymore" is a pityful clown.
zooloo75 834 Posted September 14, 2016 Trump and his "France is not France anymore" is a pityful clown. Constant terror attacks and unearthed terror plots suggest otherwise.

Wiki 1558 Posted April 20, 2017 Another terrorist strike in Paris tonight. Firefight on the Champs Élysées. Isis guy who fired at a police car. 1 policeman KIA, 2 injured. Tango down. And all that 3 days before the French presidential...
ProfTournesol 956 Posted April 21, 2017 Yeah, that's pathetic. But I won't change 1 minute of my schedule, any of my habbits or my vote because of that. I went to London last week, that was nice and I hope most people will react like me.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted October 17, 2017 Raqqa: IS 'capital' falls to US-backed Syrian forces Finally Raqqa has fallen. The final stand was made by a bunch a foreign jihadists, including numerous French ones (reminds me of the fall of Berlin in 45 where the bunker was also defended by French waffen ss). French special forces seem to have been given the order to eliminate as many French jihadists as possible, Raqqa being the place where terror attack against France were planned and ordered. Well, according to the the French government, the French SF are only there for council and mentoring. They won't be engaged in the firefights.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted October 17, 2017 Officially, yes. They cannot say otherwise, but it's obviously not the case, their job isn't to train or council, but to act. http://www.lci.fr/international/irak-syrie-la-traques-des-djihadistes-francais-2054865.html
Valken 622 Posted October 18, 2017 It is a pity that France was able to give those a proper life with opportunities (as best as it can) and now resort to eliminating them from the face of the earth. Not that I would pity them after what they did but it is a tragic waste on all sides.
krycek 349 Posted October 22, 2017 Actually it's something that all European countries should do. France should be an example to others. I'll never understand what special kind of stupid you have to be (authorities, members from government) to let back in country those suspected of having terrorist links or that went to terrorist camps, hint: they didn't went there to learn becoming boy scouts. Their elimination isn't a loss, civilization is nice and actually works for the ordinary people, but when they decide to cross that border and think that killing people is a fun past time /insert religious dumb excuse they shouldn't be surprised they end up with a few extra holes. Imo these scums lost their rights as human beings.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted October 23, 2017 It seems our British friends are thinking the same way : 'British IS fighters 'must be killed', minister says'

Sanya 97 Posted December 12, 2018 What is happening in France?
vilas 477 Posted December 12, 2018 what happens ? middle class and working people have enough of paying bigger taxes for benefits for those who do not want to work but due to cenzorship in western EU they afraid to tell honestly - terror of political correctness on the west is so big that they even afraid to say who makes terrorist acts, who doesn't work but lives from benefits while they have bigger and bigger taxes for those , so government beat people because western multiculti-socialist ideology doesn't accept neither middle class nor traditional values , they have cenzorship, politicall correctness, so called "nwo" , socialism, cultural marxism and many crazy things which sane people won't never accept , poor people now , they used to be proud and rich, now they work for less to pay those who believe that "infidel" must pay "jazyia" tax for them , lol, so socialist state needs white-slaves to work for it, thus bigger taxes , all those energy prices rise (idiotic UN "Agenda 2030 on equality and development" etc), i know one thing - in past i was jealous that i do not live in rich west, now i do not want to live there due to this multikulti and lack of safety, terror acts and working for not-working lazy migrants, gerontophilia + socialism = boom
