Is it know, that the Hellcat and Chinook (or however they are called in game (I use AGM)) do not work since 1.40.^^"

Many of us have the same problem. Since 1.4, we can see Hellcats on the map and we can hear them overhead but they are invisible in game to anyone running the SOS Pure mod on an MP server. Disable the mod and all is right again. No other mods are running except CBA. I hate to lose SOS but I can't run it without the fix. Thanks for any assistance.

You know another thing that could use work is the death sounds. Currently they are extremely cheesy and kinda take away from the realism. Need something more like this

I found a this addon will be lead to weapons no swing problem, when I'm moving the crosshair completely without reducing accuracy.

Yes. I've tried it. When you reload the new marksman DLC rifles while prone the reload gets stuck and you cant do anything except look around.

Running Speed of Sound Pure but just noticed it removes my audio for any radio messages I send and receive between me and my squad in SP games- as soon as I disable the SoS my radio audio comes back! should this be happening or have I done something wrong?!?its very frustrating......

Note the sounds in SoS are amazing but if there's no work around to get my radio messages back will have to move to JSRS as I know this doesn't disable the radio .....although the sounds in a firefight are not as good as SoS!....any assistance appreciated

Note have already tried to delete the speedofsound_radios.pbo but doesn't seem to help........

Awesome sound mod! But for some reason, I keep getting: "Sound_JS_JC_FA18E_flyby_fast1 not found" when I'm on the ground and I have an F-18 fly over. I was using the sonic boom mod also, but I disabled it, and eventually uninstalled it completely thinking they might be conflicting. Any ideas how to fix this? thx.

What is speed of sound pure?

Speed of Sound Pure is how I envision the sound in arma 3 should be. Its been one very long evolving project that started back in Arma2 and has grown in size and scope reaching what I feel is the penultimate version of Speed of Sound.



How often will it be updated?

Hopefully not all that often, there will still be bugs no doubt somewhere but I think I've squashed the major ones but running -nologs on clients and servers ensures smoother play incase errors do crop up.

It is a shame the radio chatter does not work. This is a very nice mod, better than the one i am using currently. I have read through the post's and noted where more than once this issue was mentioned but i never did see a response. If anyone has one please respond it would be greatly appreciated.

4.1MB/s is not fast enough for you? So downloading a 3200MB file which takes like 12 minutes (registered members) is to slow for you? Hmm interesting, you must have a stressfull life. But if that is the case you must make shitloads of money so than you can donate money every month to Armaholic to make sure we can run a file server maybe just for you?

Interesting how more and more people complain, but really nobody in this community, and I mean nobody, decides maybe Armaholic should be supported monthly by donations. Or maybe people should stop using ad block or support us in any other way.

But nope, in the Arma community all people do is complain about the downloadspeed of a service provided totally for free even to those who download the same files dozens of times a month. To those using adblock, to those who call me a fucking idiot or threaten my family with death cause I removed their forum post or say thay will do my sister in every hole she has. I am downloading the addon from Armaholic logged in as a member between 53 and 150 kbps.. Your site is an outstanding hub for everything Arma, but for the past few months I have had issues downloading from your servers.

Here is what I am talking about, maybe since you want to vent about family dying and sisters getting done in every whole, you can find out why this is happening.

Hole, I wrote hole. Whole and hole have a different meaning. Specially for those interested in my sister its a rather important point.

I cant tell you why that happens except for the obvious......you must be downloading at busy times as we serve thoussands of files per minute and of course at busy times that will make sure waiting times increase (as than you can do that thoussands stuff times some nice value).

P.S. I too was unaware of download speed caps for unregistered users. I actually have had an account for the longest time, just never logged in because I figured D/l speeds were throttled for reasons.
