DESCRIPTION

soc_gear - main pbo of the SOCMOD. All gear, uniforms, helmets, and vests are located here and will be required for our SOC units.

soc_weapons - contains all weapons made by SOCMOD.

soc_marsoc - contains MARSOC config and is dependant on soc_gear and soc_weapons.

INSTALLATION :

======================

Extract into the ArmA 3 Directory, by default this is located in:

32-Bit - C:/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/

64-Bit - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/

After extraction it should look like this:

Steam/Steamapps/Common/ArmA 3/@mod_name

You can also use the "Arma 3" folder in your "My Documents" folder. Your folder setup could than look like for example this:

mydocuments\Arma3\@your_mod_folder_name\

Place the "userconfig" (if present) folder into your game install folder, usually:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3".

You'll also need add a Launch Parameter to Steam, in order to do so right-click on ArmA 3 Alpha and click Properties and then Set Launch Options. In the window that opens enter in:

-mod=@mod_name

For using multiple mods you would then do so like this:

-mod=@mod_name;@mod_name2;@mod_name3;@mod_name4;@mod_name5

But seriously congrats again and enjoy some much deserved rest!

I'm currently knocking out a mission pack using these guys. It'll include at least 2 coop scenarios, and a singleplayer scenario to begin with.

As you know, unlike many other mod teams, the SOC guys put many hours into ridding their mods of bugs and glitches, so hopefully this wont have too many. But great work anyway guys, its really good to see some new models and textures in the game, especially with all re textures these days. Congratulations! You guys honestly deserve to win in the MANW competition, not just because this mod is amazing but because the intentions were not to win money or recognition but to give the community something new and great. Again Great Work!

Awesome release you guys! My Marine Raider Team will be using this mod as our primary.

I'm currently knocking out a mission pack using these guys. It'll include at least 2 coop scenarios, and a singleplayer scenario to begin with.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for those missions, Binkowski.

Stealing money, no. Stealing our time after release... most definitely.

Anyways really liking this, Meatball would it be possible for us to get an additional download link for the high quality textures? I know they would have adverse effects on performance but I was hoping we could have an alternate download for them for those of us who want to run it with 4K texture maps :)

that was not ment towards you or the general comunity, but rather a specific group of terrible individuals i sadly formerly belong to until i realised what went down behind closed curtains.

Though there will not be a 4096px map variant made public, nore private. Yes these texture maps partially exist but wont even be created for future content. 2048 should be sufficient per clothing piece.
