How does the AI handle itself on deck? In my experience, it has always been the weak point for ships addons.

Nice to see another one anyway! ;)

The mod is great! I'm having fun trying it out :) So what features do you plan on adding to the ship? Also will you make this multiplayer compatible?

I think you have added too much mass to the ship because it takes water and progresively it looks like it sits deeper in the water.

I don't know what kind of animation source for the propellers but you should use something like this

- you can easily set countermeasures in the ship and SAM systems

- For me the ROF of the main gun is a little bit low. It should be three seconds recharge time.

- Muzzle velocity of the shell should be 762 m/s

- There are clipping issues with the gunboats proxies

- CIWS sights are misaligned

I think I still have somewhere the old Frigate pbo used for the old Arma 2 ANZAC mod. I will try to find my old files to see if I can send you the old code. Theoretically, with the new Arma 3 functionality, whe could even animate the VLS hatches so they open when the missiles are fired.

For the missiles to be launched vertically an scripted solution must be used but it is a fairly simple one.

I love the new shade of hull colour you have used. It certainly looks much alike to the hull colour the RNZN uses. Overall it looks wonderful

Um I think ur ship having new problem.

If I spawn the ship in Dedicated server, then Its keep Exploded and make tons of boat wreck when I delete ship wreck.

I think U`ve better delete all Boats on the side of the ship.

its cause lots of problem now.

hey there this is the only ship mod i love so far and gotta say its looking great. Kinda wish that the ship was alittle more quicker and i have no clue how to lower down the boats on the sides. Also i noticed with Ai the Ai dont shoot jets or helis with the AA gun on the ship only ground targets and i noticed the AI will be shooting the main gun but it wont be aiming anywhere towards where it has to shoot... pretty much looks a different way and fires and u see the smoke not coming from the cannon when AI uses it. One more thing i found out that the ship does not have the best armor in the world and would love to see a actual massive explosion for the ship when it blows up... it would be pretty awsome.

Hey man. Just been playing around with this. Great mod so far. Just a few things I've noticed The armour seems to be a little weak as it doesn't take too many rockets or canon shells to sink it. And the main gun seems to be hopeless at hitting anything... Otherwise great so far look forward to any future developments.

I kinda wanted to take a break from releasing planes so I decided to check out ships.

This is sort of like a test of the physx capabilities on ships and it's my experimentation.

It is fairly buggy, but it works, kinda. You can land a chopper on it, you can walk on it (only while it is not moving), and you can use see how big ships react to the water.

Did u Spawn this ship in the Dedicated Server?

I think this is only cause the problem with Dedicated.

We had this trouble last night on a dedicated server.

Spawning in the frigate with ZUES as a playable object caused it to explode immediately.

Spawning in the frigate with ZUES as a AI-controlled object caused it to sink low in the water and the two boats on the side to instantly explode.

Attempting to land on the rear with a hummingbird either caused the ship to bounce around and then explode, or may have been a successful landing.

If a successful landing then the player would fall straight through the floor into water.

The was also no obvious way to enter the frigate from the water line. (maybe a ladder placement to indicate an entry point?)

Otherwise it did look awesome lined up as a water assault launching point.

I had no problems with this mod but since the last arma 3 update it keeps crashing. I only have 2 mods active..this one and cba_a3. I place one player on the map and one HMNZS Te Kaha and as soon as i want to preview it's game over :-(

Anyone else with the same symptons?
