All in Arma High Quality pack (AiA HQ) - Replacement addons for AiA

This addon is great, but one fact ruines everything. After all of these addons are being installed the editor is full of c**p. The native mods' classfolders double the AiA classfolders, so we have two CDF, two Russians, two Takis an so on. That would be great, if AiA HQ also hid all those mods' native classfolders, so only the native ARMA 2 classes were shown.

Not quite sure if I can follow you. It is correct that 3rd party mods also add entries in the unit selection,

however normally these should be assigned to different factions, are they not?

Please make some screenshot to illustrate your point.

That said to make missions you can simply disable AiA HQ and renable it when you want to play.

More good quality ports have been up lately, so I´ll just pester a little more and suggest:

I can´t recall the reasons why you´re not using BTC´s SCARs (it has the GL version and is quite functional) but meanwhile why not use Slatts SCARs? when i use this, alot of the weapons and movement sounds dissaper (I have JSRS installed manually as playwithsix didn't install it) but when i switch it back to default standalone, all the sounds are fine.

BIS has made some changes to the configs causing modded weapons to lose their sounds. This is currently in dev branch only but most probably it will hit stable branch with the boot camp update. The community made weapons will have to be altered to work with this update. In some threads modders have already commented that they are just waiting for the update so that they can publish hotfixes for their weapons.

I actually found out downloading the 1.5 JSRS (not from six)and moving all the files into the High quality's folder fixed the issue

But it appears that now the british JTAC is missing his uniform and some of the Czech infantry have no ammo.

(Love the mod by the way, but why are alot of the GUR and local factions wearing full military gear?)

Need more details which exact units have these uniform and ammo issues (ie demo mission, unit classes or names+faction).

And still true :) Please upload your rpt log file of a session with AiA SA + AiA HQ.

For A2/OA content to work for an A3 collection in PWS, you need to have either AiA, AiA SA lite or A3MP in your collection, or manually add it.

In regards to clothing - I am limited to what 3rd party mods offer and only to a rough replacement unless provided specific guidance (mostly by Hannibal so far).

What i meant was, JSRS seemed to work (Despite still producing errors) When i moved the jsrs files into the hiqh quality packs mod folder, (Thus making JSRS load as part of the mod) I have in all in arma SA

(And aggressors might also work for the takistani indipendants on a side note)

2) JSRS pbos are not loaded at all

I had the RC on for a single session, didnt seem to cause any errors outside of the ones i got normally, if you need a non RC RPT tell me.

JSRS was functiong from a manual install and i wasent launching the one six downloaded

My 2cents suggestions =)

Up Armored HMMWV Modification could replace the actual hmwv's ported by aplion ( http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?178191-Up-Armored-HMMWV-Modification-Release )

STI machineguns could replace Massi's lmgs ( http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?175871-STI-Addons )

Hey there,

can't get it to work.

I have downloaded AiAHQ and it's dependencies with PWS, it got the job done faster than manually (except for @jsrs).

Moved all downloaded Addons to the Arma 3 folder.

I have the latest AiA Standalone version, with Arma3Sync I create a mod group for AiAHQ which consists of: @AllInArmaStandalone, @AllInArmaHighQualityPack and @CBA_A3.

I boot and I get: "Addon 'AiA_RadioProtocol' requires addon 'AiA_Core'".

Then black screen and some other error, and then "Arma 3 has stopped working"

AiA Standalone uses patch 2 & 3 and AiA HQ is the version from 2/6/2014.

It used to work some months before.

What can I do?

Please upload the arma3.rpt from a session with this error.

Overall it sounds like you are missing files in AiA SA.

PS: You can set the location PWS downloads the stuff to in game settings.

I seem to have fixed something but still AiA HQ can't access @sud_russians and makes the Russian faction unusable.
