dcal 16 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) @AngelWingGamingJacob Will Do. I have about two weeks of work left on it including filling some small voice acting roles. I am using another mod called Altis Defense Force as OPFOR. Edited May 1, 2014 by dcal
corporal_lib[br] 396 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) someone made the first public campaign with our mod (fan made not official mod campaing) based in chernarus This Campaign -> http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=27477 (it is indeed a whole campaign, and it is going to have sequels and work as a trilogy - the author, Panicsferd, couldn´t make it split in dlcs as BIS did, but it has the same triptic idea of East Wind concept) it is quite good and is a good way to showcase the mod, making its units available to the masses (which don´t know how to use mission editor nor MCC to spawn them) ;) I am guilty of suggesting your mod + Kaelis South Zagoria to make the proper immersion to his idea of CSAT invading Cherno (he was originally using East vs West mod, I was mistakenly led to believe it was a Cold war campaign, then I stumbled on the dialog: "...this CSAT are the same guys we fought in Altis!" so I acknowledge it was actually set in 2036 =P) cheers! (I've seen two guys with MK18's on ship) Designated Marksman or a Scout Sniper (With a changed up SOP) You won't get anything else besides an M4, M16A4, IAR, 249 or a 240. If they're going to be staying true to the Corps then you won't/shouldn't see anything else. If you want to use different weapons just remove the units kit in the editor and place whatever you want inside it. And before you ask how I know I'm a Scout Sniper with 3/5 and have been in for eight years. Back on topic: The mod is pretty cool so far. The desert cammies are still oddly colored in my opinion but I'm enjoying it. Keep up the good work. Edited May 2, 2014 by Keegan Spelling errors.

teipgas55 10 Posted May 2, 2014 I just wanted to ask if you considered doing like special units looking like this --->http://s3.gamefreaks.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/battlefield-4-character-render-2.jpg and like this --->http://cdn.bf4central.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/new-battlefield-4-features-second.jpg, i know these are from Bf4 but they look pretty cool and they would be cool idea for some special operators without helmets^_^

PolyG 69 Posted May 3, 2014 A pave hawk! a HH-60M; a very perdy helicopter. Working on getting those rotors spinning and the colours right! First release might not be a 100% accurate because I need to model a refuel boom still.
disco.modder 116 Posted May 3, 2014 That would be an army medevac. The air force exclusively use pave hawks. Nevertheless look forward to it being done!

The USAF Designation for the Pave hawk is HH-60M; HH Stands for Rescue Helicopter, this specific model is a USAF variant as its interior is stripped out; Civilian models before USAF designation is "MH-60"

Keegan 11 Posted May 3, 2014 MARSOC and FR will soon have different designs headgear wise. The helmets are placeholders for boonies and hats w/ headsets. In Force Recon and MARSOC (Battalion Recon has changed their SOP) There's two different type of operations: Blackside (Direct Action) and Greenside (Reconnaissance). Blackside is combat oriented so the units should have their full PPE on (personal protective equipment) So kevlars, platecarriers etc. Greenside is mostly softgear meaning chest rigs (some with SAPI's inside, some without) rucks/assault packs and softcaps/softcovers. Boonie covers are issued to every Marine. It's not just SOF specific. Just wanted to clarify some things and hopefully you'll take this into consideration as you continue to move this neat mod forward. I see a lot of addon creators (wont name them) getting a lot of this mixed up/flat out wrong. Message me if you need info or anything like that. Would be glad to help.
