gatordev 215 Posted January 21, 2014 Eric, I agree the Surefire looks a little light, but if you're using a picture, it might be that it just was exposed a certain way. Here's a pick of my -212. I know it's not a SOCOM, but it's the same color, size, and form factor. After it gets shot a little bit as well as handled, it starts to get darker. Between the grime of shooting suppressed and the paint getting heated up, the color starts to match the standard FDE color a little more. Thanks for continuing to update these. gatordev 215 Posted January 22, 2014 How's this? Beuno. The color is about right. I agree the hole looks small, but it sounds like you've already addressed that. If you really wanted to, you could use the weapon color/texture to give it a more worn look, but what you have works fine.
