Yeah arma 3 is a great looking game and that is a pretty good recording of it.

Only wish I had a rig that could run it on max settings and still look as good as that. One day soon I hope.

Well, not wanting to be nitpicking, but PC Gamer could have done the video with at least some weather and time of day considerations, pretty much almost all the scenes are at noon, which is kinda boring. I mean, no clouds and sunsets? No cloudy moonlit night with (awesome new) rain and few burning wrecks thrown in (the scene in campaign where my computer stuttered the most, except when maxing VD on Altis of course :), some lightning, night explosions without NVGs, foggy dawn, etc...

(obviously I am just envious) ;)

Well consider this (I understand you're kinda joking): They aren't beholden to BIS or to this community, nor are they obligated to promote Arma 3. They weren't obligated to showcase Arma 3 at all, seeing as yes, there are better looking PC games. Be thankful that they showed off Arma 3 at all instead of other, more popular games. Because, the point of the video isn't to promote Arma 3. It's to show off what their new rig can handle.

Well, the game looks best att the early hours or early evening. I guess that's why the choosed this time to create the video.

Love the hardware. Wish they showed it on 4K resolution and should loaded the map files to run off a ramdrive with 64 GB of ram! That would be a total wet dream for ARMAholics!

Yes, I was mostly joking. They even mention Arma 3 at maximum in the PSU description. Does that mean A3 is getting reputation for a new Crysis (in the good sense - A2 had it too but in not so good sense)? Nice of them to demo the LPC using it.

This is a beast.... but the cost to build and the cost to run is too much too much. too much...

I like it though - its like the black 458 Italia parked on the street outside my house, I enjoy that it exists because I can look at it all day, I don't even mind I can't afford

One thing that still turns me down is the heavy z-fighting when aiming with the scope. Check the sniper part at 1:46 in the video and watch the heavy z-fighting in the large sandbags.
