Will fix. I don't know how to make the radios ACRE compatible. If making it ACRE compatible will make it ACRE dependent, then I'll have to pass. Sup3r6Four, I've thought about not adding stuff to the packs. I play I44 domination and I hate it when I have to empty the pack of useless junk like sticky bombs that I'm never going to use. My thought on my packs vs I44 packs is with 30 slot you should have enough room to put more stuff in it, even with stuff already in it. The inside of BDUs are much brighter than the outside, but I'll look into it. Laquessha, noted. Ok, well I was packing the bag with Satchels and AT mines for an engineer on the 30 slot ALICE, but I'm more or less concerned about the small An/PRC 77 pack and the medic pack. With the whole ACRE thing; The ACE Radiopacks can be used with or without ACRE, so if you can get ACRE Working on them maybe shoot over a message/email to the ACE Team and see how they did it. I really think ACRE and ACE compatibility will get this mod into a lot of mod packs for various groups out there. I'm going to ask around at SO to see if they may want to add this. I'm really liking these units, can't wait for the HMMWV's. I know you want to avoid OA dependency's (Or so it seems) but do you have intentions of putting crewmen into armored vehicles (M1A1's, LAV's, AAV's, Bradley's, M113s, possibly Stryker's; maybe even adding static units (M2's, MK19's, M119's, ect.) Something else that may be worth a shot in your weapons pack that your talking about, a tripod for an M60 that works, Asst. Gunner carry's the Tripod, ammo bearer carry's extra ammo. Maybe even a M21 and M24 models with Snipers added to the factions (I don't know if they had SDM's in the 80s in 90's, if they did maybe look into that? Not really necessary though.) I'm excited to see what you may be able to do with this add-on, I will be surprised if you are actually able to do half the stuff you've already talked about let alone what people have been suggesting. Keep up the awesome work and Sorry to pester you with so many little things, These are merely suggestions I see to be cool or would add usability. Keep up the awesome work Delta. I'm going to look around and see if I can't find some scripts to help out the usability of your socks, MRE's and such items. I know I44 has bayonets, that might be your key to getting those working. Delta Hawk 1829 Posted September 2, 2013 Just so ya'll know, an engineer isn't the engineer everyone thinks it is. In the Marine Corps, BIS's definition of an engineer is an assaultman, a Marine MOS who's specialty is rocket launchers and explosives. The Army's Special Forces Groups have demolitions. In the real US Military, an engineer is someone who builds buildings, bridges and camps. They can also tear down stuff, but it's usually not with explosives. Engineers in real life are not combat MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) like infantry or tankers. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

That sounds splendid! EGAs on the helmets were quite common with the NVG-mountless DCU PASGTs from what I've seen. Early '80s goodness! ;) Only problem is this would probably require the mod to be used with CO instead of just ArmA 2 standalone (not a big deal but just pointing it out, I noticed the same thing.) I'm not sure but also the normal AT guys should have M72's instead of AT4's if possible, maybe you could add one in your weapons pack? Doesn't this mod already require Operation Arrowhead? Because some of units use the M60E4, which was only included in the O.A. expansion pack, if my memory serves me correctly. Thanks for all the work and I can only hope for a replacement config to come out some time soon. Few questions about the hidden selections though. I remember seeing in the old thread guys with USAF TSgt. stripes as well as guys with Army SF shoulder patches. Were those textures included? Right now I'm just seeing army and usmc/usn ranks and the 101st and 2nd cav patches. Also, is there a way to switch the vests with hidden textures? For instance, a woodland pasgt vest on desert guys or vice versa? I thought I saw some units in the old thread with RBA armor as well. Was that included? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for making these. I'm having a lot of fun playing around with the hidden selections and seeing what I can come up with. The readme specifically says not to open the pbos. If you want to open the pbo to help develop the addon, please message me for permission. Thanks. I do plan on making different vest texture. MadM0nkey 1 Posted September 3, 2013 yes it took a couple hours but no big deal. & yeah sorry about that, I am working on a Battle of Baghdad Warfare2 conversion and needed the specific unit names for the Config_Barracks/Teams.sqf But not to worry it's for personal use only and not for release or anything & more importantly --> not for arma III I don't like being stabbed in the face. abshire 2 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) Again, I cannot add packs to units or into boxes...it keeps telling me that I do not have the correct config...any idea on how to fix that? I would really like to add packs to units, and boxes for missions. For every other pack I have ever added to boxes or units I have used the following in either the init or a .sqf this addweapon 'usm_pack_alice_prc119'; or this addweaponcargo ['usm_pack_alice_prc119';3]; but when I try that with the packs in this mod, I get an error that says there is no entry in the .config file for the units I am requesting. I work very hard, even though the read me is a giant useless turd plagued with errors, to provide or make a honest attempt to provide the information ya'll need to make missions without opening the pbos. I really appreciate ya'lls help, but I don't want another situation like with what happened with my ugly child addon from many years ago, so just ask for permission. MadM0nkey, I don't want to stab you in the face neither. Abshire, you need to use the this addbackpack "usm_pack_blahblahblah" to add backpacks to a unit. Laqueesha, thanks. Will fix. Delta Hawk 1829 Posted September 3, 2013 Yes, you can share patches. I figure that'll happen a lot in multiplayer games. You can use the patches for your addons as long as you give me credit. I apologize for the readme, it was rushed. I didn't want to delay the addon anymore, but the next update, hopefully soon, will fix the errors in the readme and in the addon itself.
